September 29, 2012 - Ropin' Some Magic in the Western Caribbean

I'll continue the trivia:

1. What is the main statue in the atrium lobby?

2. Who created the chandelier in the atrium lobby?

3. What character is painting the name on the Magic?

There are now 13 cabins on the first 3 FE groups. I just added group numbers above the groups and closed the third group. If you want to be added to group 4 please PM me or post here.

I just added our 2 cabins to group 4. I wasn't sure we would have time to get FE gifts ready, but now that our t-shirts and pirate costumes are done I feel much better. I'm so excited - only 2 months from tomorrow!

Lot of people from Texas, feeling kinda out of place being so far up north in Wisconsin :P

:wave2: hey, I'm originally from Wisconsin! We just got back from visiting the Milwaukee area last week! We had such a great time visiting our families. We were hoping to escape the Texas heat but it was almost as bad when we were there.

Where in Wisconsin are you from?

It's been HORRIBLE here, normally the AC runs for like 2 weeks a year, mmmm this year it's been on nonstop since MAY... we are over on the western side, right on the Mississippi :) We were going to go to Milwaukee and spend a few days there, go to the zoo and what not but then decided on a cruise instead as our daughter is on a MASSIVE Disney kick. Would anyone happen to know if Lilo and/or Stitch might possibly make an appearance?

You know your Disney :) I thought watching Tangled 5,000 times classified me as knowledgeable but I guess not :P

I just searched on Swagbucks.com. I found the answers and earned 8 points toward another Amazon gift card! It takes 450 points to get $5 gift card. The number of points you get is random..I've gotten as many as 50 at a time and as little as 7--but it is free! I've redeemed 11 gift cards so far.

Hi there, brand new to this, and our first cruise. I was doing some research on the cruise and came across this fish extender... with more research I found this post. I would like to add us, but that is a LOT of posts to go thru... anyone willing to give a short version on how to sign up/what to do?

Leaving the men at home and having a girls vacation...

my mom Theresa will turn 49 on September 30
I'm 29
and my daughter Adriana will turn 6 on September 24, right before we leave :)

any help/guidance would be greatly welcomed! Thank you!

Howdy!! Just a warm welcome!!!!:goodvibes

Well, I will tell you that it is something that I made for the children in my class when I taught. They loved it and it helped me in many ways. It helped in organization, teaching colors and we played a game called "What's missing" using it.

Did that make you more curious (insert evil laugh):cool1:

After reading this, I am curious also, and I dont have any children with me !!!
Well except DH :rotfl2:

I'll continue the trivia:

1. What is the main statue in the atrium lobby?

2. Who created the chandelier in the atrium lobby?

3. What character is painting the name on the Magic?

1. Helmsman Mickey statue

2. Dale Chihuly

3. Goofy

Do people typically bring cups with them on the ship? I've seen Disney insulated straw cups and wondered if it would be a good idea to bring them along.

I am bringing cups -- Britta bottles to carry water in and insulated cups for coffee. I will have my ECV basket to carry it in. I'm not sure I would if I had to carry it around!

ok, here goes.. on to some Trivia! :cheer2:

1. What feature, found on most other cruise ships, is notably absent from the Disney ships?

2. What year did the Disney Cruise Lines begin?

3. What is the name of the family pool on the Disney ships?

1. Didn't look this up, but I'm pretty sure it's gambling.
2. 1998
3. On the old ships the family pool is the goofy pool. On the new ships it's the donald pool.
