Hello cruise-buddies!

Life is super crazy over here with planning the wedding and 2 disney trips, but it's also super fun!

Piper, originally I said I would be in more than one FE group if we had more than one, but I'm gonna say I think it's best for my sanity (and purse) to stick to just one

I still need some favorite colors! I have put down my disney crafting for a bit to make centerpieces and other frilly wedding things, but will be picking up my FE stuff again in the next couple weeks!

One other question, if any of y'all know....can you bring a box as checked luggage? I'm kinda thinking it would be easier to pack all the FE stuff in a box and checking it at the terminal. We are driving down from dallas, so car space isn't the problem, it's just getting it on the boat!

And lastly, from my count we have 20 distinct cabins (I know some family's are using 2 cabins). When were we going to cut off the first group? I'm being incredibly selfish by asking this, but it's due to the fact that if we don't cut it off til August, I'm gonna be in the middle of last minute wedding stuff and events that I don't want my FE gifts to suffer because of that.

So...maybe when we hit a number everyone is comfortable with we can cut the first group and start a second? Just a suggestion, if it's a horrible one feel free to tell me

Emily and I both love cotton candy pink. Kristin's is hot pink. So excited to start on my FE gifts. I am trolling for good ideas.

Jenna, I was just thinking the same thing. I think we said no more than 10-15 cabins to a group. We have 20 cabins, 24 children and 33 adults (13 men, 20 women.)

We can form 2 groups of 10 now......

Or we can put 15 cabins on a list and add up to 10 cabins as they sign-up......

Or we can cut off now and start a new group with the next person who registers........

Or we can just continue to collect names and form groups later.

If you are on the FE list, please weigh in here. We need to know what you want so we can go with the majority.

Hi Piper. I think we should see how many groups we get then split so that they stay about equal in size. That way no one group carries too much weight. But I am also happy to participate in any manner.

I'm open to whatever the group decides. I'd prefer to be part of a smallish group since it's my first FE but whatever works.

I think a group of 10-12 cabins per group sounds perfect. I would definitely like the groups finalized asap so I can get an accurate count of goodies I need. The sooner the better

Right now the votes are tied between 10 cabins. 15 cabins, cutting off now and anyone else added to new group with 3 votes each and one for waiting until August to split into equal groups.

10 families have voted, 8 need to vote. I will close the vote Saturday evening *(5/5/12) at midnight Central Time. That should give people time to get their votes in.

Wristbands are a really cool gift that literally bands us together! When we have done it in the past, other cruisers always wanted to know where we got them!

If everyone is interested or wants to know more, just let me know. I'd be happy to take on this project!

Wristbands are a really cool gift that literally bands us together! When we have done it in the past, other cruisers always wanted to know where we got them!

I was wondering the same thing, about what these wristbands were, so I did a search (sorry my lack of patience!!)

Apparently some cruise meets are ordering wristbands, like those livestrong lance armstrong bracelets, but in a certain color with their logo or phrase on it...sounds pretty cool, that way we can recognize each other on board. They were also pretty cheap, like $2 a piece...not bad!

Not sure if this is what faithfullyeeyore was talking about, so I'll wait for the response

Yay! Just signed up for the FE's! Kinda nervous because this is my first time doing FE, and still dont know what I am going to do, but DH told me he would help If I let him do it, it would be wood and chains, he is such a man!! But did view the FE thread and saw a lot of neat idea... wishing me luck on the GREAT ideas going from my head to reality!!!

We have myself, Hubbie, and Christian in 1 cabin
Kristin and other 3 children in 2nd cabin

We will have 2 extenders. I don't have them yet I am trying to decide between making or buying. If anyone has any thoughts on make vs buy let me know.
