Hi everyone!!!

Two weeks from TOMORROW is when we are leaving!!!!
I can't believe it is so close.

The goody bags are just getting better and better! I could bring some paper lunch bags for the overflow in case everything doesn't fit in the pirate goody bags. I certainly hope we have enough for every kid to get something!

Jac, I saw those t-shirts at our Disney store, but they didn't have the right sizes. Disneyshopping.com has them for the same price, but you have to get to $50 for free shipping, and I can't find enough stuff that I want! What a dilemma!

Hey can someone refresh my memory about when we are planning to meet?

my DH is wearing his tux, at least that is what I plan. My 2 DS are wearing theirs too (they were hand me downs, so hopefully they fit!) When else can I get my 3 men in tuxes?? I haven't picked out my outfit yet, but something dressy to match them!

about the docs... I have received all of my docs for WDW (we're staying Friday night before the cruise and then 3 days afterwards) including all of my tags for the luggage, but nothing for the cruise..... what kind of docs should I be expecting?

We are going to do our first dismeet at 3:00 on the first day in the promenade lounge and the second dismeet on the second sea day (Monday) at lunch (12:00) at Lumiere's.

Also sometime in there anyone who wants to help will meet up for goody bag making and drinks!!

Hope your kids are better Shanon! I will never forget my nephew waking up the day we were supposed to leave for WDW (my first on-site trip, and his first ever) with a 102.9 fever (his twin sister was sick earlier that week so it was not totally unexpected). Needless to say we had to postpone the trip (it was the 2nd time) we finally got there in May.

80's Night complaint...When I think of 80's music I think of Van Halen, Def Leppard, all the big hair bands. DH and I always go to 80's night and always end up leaving because they play all the music we don't like. And every 80's night on every cruise is exactly the same. I'm sure all of you will enjoy it. It just isn't my favorite evening.

Favorite 80's song is Guns n Roses November Rain.

I am a huge fan of the 80's hair bands. Skid Row was my absolute die hard favorite. "Youth Gone Wild" was my anthem!

The CM in my store told me if I didn't find a size I was looking for, she had a lot more adult sizes in the back. So, I asked for a M Tinker Bell and she brought it out. Yay!!! It's cute. I had previously bought the Cinderellla one a couple of weeks ago for a little more than $5. For DH, I got him Grumpy and Mickey. DD got Belle and Snow White. DS got Goofy and Nightmare Before Christmas.

The 1st page has all the meet info!

I don't think we'll have time at the first meet to stuff. I think the plan was to get together an hour before the scheduled lunch for those who wanted to stuff the bags. Anyone know of a bar we can meet at an hour before lunch on Monday to stuff bags? That way we can still stuff and drink!! And then we can eat.

We got our docs the very beginning of Sept and booked through DU. Can't remember but someone else got their docs the same day also.

Not that I'm counting or anything BUT only 7 more work day!!! We leave very early on the 27th will be at WDW around 10:30am!

I have a long, strapless velvet gown that I haven't worn for a couple of years, so I'm thinking of wearing that. My DH is wearing an all black suit including a black shirt inside and my DD is wearing one of her flower girl dresses. Is that going to be TOO formal?

I will be wearing a dark suit. I have no idea at this point what the DW will be wearing. I no longer own a tux and really don't see the need to rent one. Some folks do wear the more formal cloths though.

yea i know.. we totally won't have time 'coz we'll have to get to our rooms and the drill and going around the ship with our mouths wide open at least for me.. i know i will be in total awe of the ship.

My Dh will be in a dark suit also.. no tux.. I don't even think he wore one to our wedding.. but I'm afraid I'll be overdressed with the long gown?

I bought one dress for someelse they never wore it gave it back,the other one I also bought for another cruise that got cancelled due to a death of my friend I was going with,so I have two new dresses but i bougth them 2 years ago,just hope they fit i have not tried them on lately, have been trying to lose weight,when i became grammy I also gained all the weight for 3 pregnancies combined, i have lost 55.8 lbs since march,so eatiing on this cruise has me a little concerned,since i am still 25 lbs from goal

I think the idea about stuffing the bags an hour before lunch sounds like a great idea. I don't drink but can I still join in the stuffing?

I didn't think the docs would be this late in getting here! I hope they are here before we leave in the 27th. I know there are some that are leaving earlier so I really hope they get thiem soon.

grammy1 that is awsome about your weight loss! From what I have heard most people tell me that they try to take the stairs during the cruise and excersice and they didn't gain very much at all. So enjoy and remember laughter burns calories as well!!

I counted 46 kids 12 and under so we should have just enough bags with a few more in case there are some new kids. Hopefully there is enough because I know that there would be some upset kids if there wasn't. I may have a few extra stickers if we need more bags. Mine is 11 she is still into all that kids stuff and I know she would love all the neat stuff as I am sure they all will!

No docs here yet either!! Hurry up and get here!!!

I am not sure what 80's song I like, my middle sister was really big into Culture Club so I heard a lot of their songs. I like alot of songs from then but don't know the titles but would know it when I heard it. Last time we went to bed early and missed some neat stuff to do so we said this time we are going to stay up later and try to go to some of the theme nights. Definitly the 80's night!

I only ask this because we seem to have just the right amount and my brother's kids would try and get a bag if they saw them being given out and their parents would think nothing of it . Thank goodness it is my sister's kids who we are cruising with and they know the meaning of sharing, as twins they have done it since conception I would have no problem giving out extras to other kids that just happened to be present but I would like to make sure that "our kids" get first, if they want one!

"You Dropped A Bomb on Me" is by The Gap Band. I loved that one too! Another favorite is probably "Walk Like an Egyptian" by The Bangles. And I also love, love, love all of the 80's hair music, including Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, G n R, and my absolute fave, Motley Crue!

That is a good question... we should come up with some way to make sure "our kids" recieve them first and if any are left given to others. Maybe we can print a list with user names and we can tell by having the child or adult give the user name of their parent/adult. Just a suggestion, maybe someone wlse might have another idea.

I have 50 pirate bags but they are not that big...I think someone else found the same bags and got 50 as well...I found them at Dollar Tree so they were only $1.00 for 25 I go at least once a week to look for more but I can't find any of the pirate ones. I haven't counted the kids but we have tons of stuff so I think we will be fine. Also as somoene suggested we can start with the younger kids and the go older and older until they are all gone. We are giving them out at lunch on Monday right? I guess at our meet on the first day we can decide when and where we want to get all of the stuff together for the bags.

I got 1 suitcase packed Yay!!!! 2 weeks!!!!!!!!

hi, everyone. I've been off the boards for 2 days and have 6 pages to catch up on. Yikes! I'm the one who bought the same Dollar Tree bags, so we should have 2 bags for each kid up to 50. Hope that helps!

DH is wearing a tux, I'm wearing a long dress, both DD's are wearing very fancy dresses as well. No worries!
