Have you done it b4 Jay?

Dh and I did it during our honeymoon and honestly it was nothing crowdwise. I think the biggest crowds it draws are Halloween and the days closest to it. The biggest line we waited in at the party was to get our complimentary pic taken. It was fabulous. I would easily do it again except for the days closest to Halloween. So much fun, we did all the best rides then save for Thunder Mountain(Closed at the time for repairs) and didn't wait more than 2 minutes for anything except Splash Mountain but thats only because it took more than 5 minutes to walk around all the lines and up the stairs LOL.

I say go for it.

No we hadn't done it previously, I guess I heard about the crowds closer to Halloween and assumed :sad2: it would be bad then as well...

NOW somebody offers a Limo ride. I knew i loved these boards LOL.

Unfortunately I'll need to decline as we are driving to FL from home. We're staying at Country Inn&Suites with cruise parking on Friday night. So our transpo is already planned. But if we were staying in the parks or somewhere close we'd take you up on it. I'd love to do a Limo to the port. Next time maybe.

:rotfl: No problem! I wish I lived close enough to drive in. If anyone else is interested let me know.

I'll have to read all the rest of the posts, but add me to the list,
It will be and 11 friends celebrating my 50th birthday, I will be the one in the tiara. LOL.

:rotfl: Hi,
Last year (09/09/06) was our first cruise I brought 2 books, I read three pages one night (I think the 1st) never had a chance to look at the books the rest of the week. You Might be luckier..
gg

I'm not taking a book for that reason!!

Long answer short is the DCL Passporter is the ULTIMATE DCL guide. Beats everything else in spades. I have the deluxe binder version where i can rearrange pages to suit me. Has packing lists, and info galore. Frankly I'm bringing mine on the ship with me its that good. If you want more info just pm me.

Is it better than the DIS?
Please, people, no flames! Just an innocent, naieve question!!

I am still reading through all the threads so I haven't got all the info yet. Is there a DIS meet planned? Is anyone going down on Friday and going to MNSSHP? We are planning on going and staying at SSR.

We're flying in Friday! There is not a DIS meet planned, yet. Would you like to coordinate? What is MNSSHP? And what is SSR? I'm so stupid!

Thanks! It sounds really good and there are a lot of reviews on cruise critic if you want to check them out. Just search for Sunny Liston tours and you can find his website. It's in St.Thomas. If there are a lot of us that want to try it maybe we can all be on the same truck.

Also...I don't know what everyone is planning on doing for transportation to the port but I am trying to figure mine out. Would anyone be interested in sharing a limo or if there are several of us a stretch hummer? I have read of several groups doing this and saving a lot of money. If anyone is interested let me know and I will be willing to set it all up.

I'm trying to look up the tour. I'll get back with you on that one - maybe. LOL

We were going to do a limo to the port. Like I said, we fly in on Friday but haven't decided where we're staying or any of that. How many are in your group?? I'm going to have 4 in mine. There's me, Jac! :hippie: and then my DH, Keith, and my DS, Jacob (13) and then DD, Daelyn (3). :grouphug:

No problem. I was the same way until I had been on DIS awhile. I would be more then glad to set up a DIS meet. I have never done this before so if anyone has the please "guide" me in the right direction. Are we going to do a pre-cruise meet the afternoon before or are you talking about a meet on the ship? Not sure how these are done since this is my first cruise. MNSSHP is Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party. Check out allears ( a website if you have not heard of it ) and you can find a good description of it. I am staying at Saratoga Springs Resort (SSR)which is the DVC resort by downtown disney. We will fly in early Friday, relax around the resort and maybe walk over to downtown disney, and then do the party that night.

Ok..I am going to try to post the website but I don't know if I can. It's sunnylistontours.com. It sounds great. There are 3 in my group, myself (27), my sister (21) and my son (6). If you would like to share one of the vehicles I can get all the information and we can go from there. Just let me know.

I just checked out the site. I think the tour sounds fun it's a good price too. We have a large group though. It will be me (23), DD's (3) and (5), DBF (27), his DS (3) and (6), and DP (too old). Let us know. I'm interested in this tour, I don't know about my parents though. The limo thing I'm not sure of. We are probably flying down that mourning and going the Disney transfer, unless we find a good deal on airfare.

Ok...Well from the pictures I would say 1 truck will hold about 15-20 people? Just a guess I can find out for sure though. I will email them and see what they say. There are only 3 of us. Once I have all the information I will post it with all the details and we can go from there.

Hi Zane_Anthony,
This will be our 3rd disney cruise and on the last one, we met up on the ship by the ice cream counter around 2-3 pm. This only works if everyone plans on being on the ship by that time. I was actually a little late for the meet because we ended up staying in WDW a little longer than we had planned.

Ok...Well if anyone has any suggestions on times/places that will work for them let me know and I will see what I can get set up. I am thinking about making something for the kids, just not sure what yet.

I have emailed them for more information as far as how many people can fit on a truck, private tours, and group pricing info. I will post the information as soon as I get it. For now if anyone is trying to figure out something fairly cheap and fun to do in St.Thomas where you get a taste of everything check out their website, www.sunnylistontours.com. It would be cool if we could have our own DIS Party Truck!! party:

Once again I am serial posting. Sorry! I have read a lot about door signs. Can you tell me where you all get the designs and things to make these?

That tour looks fun. I think we might be interested. My husband is worried I'm not going to let us off the ship!
