GG: Yes! Thank God for your son and his team! I've heard planes flying around our area the other day. I guess they were helping to contain the O.C. fire.

Schools were closed today and half day yesterday. I guess we'll be at the mall with the other moms and kids who have nowhere to go 'coz it's so gross outside!

Maria: Thank you for your thoughts and prayers Yes, they said that the Santiago (o.c. fire) was deliberate and almost professionally done as they knew exactly where to start a fire where it would cover a lot of land and do a lot of damage. A lot of people have lost their homes in the canyons because those are older homes. While in a community like ours and the ones in foothill ranch and stevenson ranch (the fire didn't get to them), the builders abide by the new and very strict fire codes. For example, the homes don't have wood shingles or wood siding etc. Most of our homes are stucco and we have tiled roof.
P.S. Mike Vogel's name is familiar. What shows was he on? Does he live in Malibu like the rest of the celebrities?

GG, you must be so proud.. My boys are so impressed with your son. They are taking those pictures in to school to show the "HERO" from the DIS. We said a extra pray for him tonight, in addition with the one we said for all the other people fighting and living in it right now... GOD BLESS...

I'm looking at Interval Internation where I can exchange my Marriott and they have Aug and September '08 open.. but that means we'll have 1 full week there. Is there enough to do with Sarah?

Thank you, we could all use an extra prayer every now and them. Especially those who have high risk jobs.. and Yes we are proud of him.

Just in case someone is wondering the helecopter is a CH-53 Sea Stallion, our son is a Marine pilot and flying is what he does for a living.. He was suppose to be on the cruise with us but at the last minute he had to cancel due to training missions. Disney was good to him though and refunded his money. We missed him on the trip but there will be other times.

Now when you hear me talk about our son the truck driver, you'll know that his truck actually has 3 engines and rotor's and he not only carts around water but equipment and people (when he does people I call him Ralph the bus driver).

It wassss such a great price that I signed up for the 1-6 December Western gty cat.12 and since it's Sara's birthday on the 5th I'm taking her with me......( Bard didn't want to go, to close to christmas..)

I really miss you all too! Out of 3 cruises this group was by far the very best! I think it will be hard to top, Probably never will.

GG - Awesome job by your son and his team!! The pictures are breathtaking, gave me chills. Prayers for them and the firefighters and also for the families displaced.

Well, for those who don't have time for scrapbooking, this is the best way I know how to put together pictures and memories. Check it out! I'll get mine in the mail this week! I can't wait to see it!
