And truth be told - I got my formal dress in April. I was in a wedding and the bride allowed us to pick out our own dresses. I told her I needed something suitable for her wedding and then it would have to be worn on the cruise! Worked well for me because I also wore the dress to another wedding in May! I love when I can get some use out of fancy clothes!! My semi formal outfit got thrown together when I discovered I finally fit in to a nice/dressy pair of pants I've had hanging in my closet since 2001! I guess I've lost some weight/inches after all! Now let's get on this cruise so I can gain it all back!!

Here it is, one sample....

After I print this to a "magnetic sheet" (buy at Staples type store)
I cut it out so there is only the Mickey head remaining and that is what goes on the door.

I hate to ask you this again. Months ago you very kindly sent me the Mickey door sign with my screen name as well as the first names of my family : Rob (dh) and two dd's, Brittany and Heather.

The Mickey door sign is yellow. Would you be able to send me one in green ? If it's too much trouble don't worry about it. Thanks so much.

PS: also.....those of you that make the door signs (this is my first), do you print it out on regular printer paper or photo paper ? I'm trying to figure out how you give it stability ? Do you use poster board or anything to back it ?

Don't remember who but someone asked about dressing for Pirate night,
if you don't dress when you go to dinner and you want a picture like below your out of luck because they are taking them before dinner (you can also get one with Pirate Mickey), I did..

I have 8 Mickey door signs completed, and they are as follows

I tried to change the Mickey head from yellow to green using Paint program, but it's not working. So unless GG can help me out, I'll be the DIS'er with the yellow Mickey head

How do you generally send your box?Mail, fedx ect, what is the most cost efficent why do do it? ,I was thinking about a box approx 18inch by 12 inches and approx 12 inches deep.Thanks for all the info, can't wait till we see each other.

No but you should go by your normal dining rotation place and get your maps (Dining menu that look like pirate maps, you get to keep them and a head covering)...so much for suprises..

Me(Shannon), Mike(goofydad24), Princesses Jade(5) and Savannah(3) are in Cabin 2118.
Goo(Ragdoll) and Papa, (Donna and Harry) are in Cabin 2116.

You rock GG Thanks !!! I have a Hewlett Packard Officejet 5610 All-in-one printer. But I'm on Windows Vista so maybe that's the problem ? I've been having some issues with Vista and I'm not a fan as of yet.
I'm still in stateroom 2026.

No way Groovy.....I highly doubt more than 40% or so actually dress up for Pirates Night---though it's been since 2004 we had our last disney cruise. My husband did dress all up like GG on that cruise (btw, great photos GG and thanks for sharing !). But this cruise, we're all just wearing our pirates t-shirts/hats/jewelry. So I think you'll be fine. And definitely stop by to get the menu like GG said. It's cute.

We would like to make one for our Panama Canal Cruise -- can you remind me where the site is that you used to make it? The only calendar site I can find lets you put characters on the top, but not each day and it does not say COUNTDOWN to DISNEY or any of that cool stuff.
