Wow - I did not realize it was that close! I paid off our cruise and we are ordering passports Friday. I have my calendar marked for the 75 day window so I can make all my reservations!

You guys seriously have to get this party started! :cool1: :dancer: party: :rockband:

YOU'RE GOING ON A DISNEY CRUISE! You're thread is falling behind my 4/29 crowd - and that is just sad!

Almost time to reveal the big surprise! (you all are soo not going to think it's that cool! But, hey, it will be cool for me!)

Talk to you soon!

We'll be there.
Me my DW and 7 year old DD.
It's our first crusie ever.
We'll be staying at WL for 5 days before with my whole family ( so my DW will have earned a relaxing cruise after 5 days with my mom, sis, snd all her kids!)

  Welcome aboard FatherForce (what a terrifically wonderful name!). :thumbsup2

Allright!!! Pulling up my HuGe boom box. Turning up the volume real...REAL loud. PoPpInG my Mickey ears on and..... and....

Dancing!!!!
:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Lets get this party started! Lets get this party started!!

Castlegazer, I think I'm going to love, love, love any suprise you bring. :yay: :cheer2: :disrocks: :dumbo: :simba: :stitch: :goofy::sulley::tigger::ccat::mickeyjum::donald:

You guys don't know how much I needed to read your posts today, I just got back home from surgery and was feeling kinda down but you have made my sprits fly! Thank you.

:thumbsup2  :cheer2: :woohoo: :yay: FatherForce,

I think I might have an itty bitty idea about how excited you all are. :Pinkbounc

Hey, I bet we will even be able to spot each other on the ship. I'll be the crazy lady with eyes as huge as dinner plates looking at the ship and mumbling "Oooooooo Ahhhhhhhh. OMG were here!!! "

Looks like we are gonna have the ship pretty much to ourselves though, unless Castlegazers suprize is a gaggle of penquines (Are a group of penquines called a gaggle? :rotfl2: )

Oh well, no matter how many are on board, I am positive this will be a fantasmic cruise.

I somehow doubt we will be on a near deserted ship.
I was thinking more that most of the posters here on DIS are cruise vets who now do 4 or 7 day cruises. pirate:

That doesn't mean we aren't going to have a GREAT time though! :cool1:

So, just to keep this going... I (42) and my DW ( ** -let's just say she is older than me without any specifics so she doesn't hit me on the head with a frying pan :rolleyes1 ) and our beautiful 7 year old DD ( she is 6 now, but be 7 by then. Wow, time is really flying by) will be in a Cat 6 on deck 6 .
We're a bit nervous about leaving her in the Oceaneer's Club.
We think we're going to stay on the ship during the Nassau day.

How about you all?

Although I don't have any personal experience with the Oceaneer's Club, from what I have read on these boards, you shouldn't have any worries at all. In fact, I have read that the kids love the club so much that they basically abandon the parents. :teeth: All they want to do is stay and play with their new friends at the club. I have also read that the CM's take really, really good care of all the children. :thumbsup2

DH and I are also in deck 6 in a Cat 6. This will be our first Veranda sailing and I am really looking forward to sipping my coffee out there in the mornings and watching the sun rise. :cloud9:

This is our first cruise ever, but I said that we HAD to have a Verandah so I could sit in the morning, drink my coffee, and watch the ocean.

I am still here too. Trying to be patient to find out what our reservation number is so I can see what kind of stateroom we will have. The cruise is a bonus/reward from DH's job and they want to suprise him with it, but had to get the date OKed with me before they booked it. So I have no idea of the details yet, I wish they would tell him so I can really play :cool1: . I know that we will have at least a cat 11 since they told me they could afford a nicer stateroom if we could go on this cruise instead of a summer one.

I have two kids, 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter. I think DS will really enjoy the club, DD will have to wait until she is older to join the fun, but she might get a little time in flounders.

Well, I finally paid off the cruise to Disney :sail: , so now I can pre-regoster with the forms from DCL. Then its just 17 days until I can book excursions.

Aside from enrolling our DD in the OC, I think we're going to do the surial spa treatment :lovestruc on the Nassau day. I'm going to sign up for the jetski ECO-Tour, and I think the DW wants to try parasailing.

We also think we'll do the Wine tasting on board. :drinking1

Along with the shows, these are the things we KNOW we want to do now.

We thought we were going to do a glass bottom boat tour on CC too, but after reading the mediocre review in the Passporter, we think we'll pass.
:scared:
I'm sure we'll be adding or changing as the days go by.

Don;t know why I'm rambling like this :confused3 , we're just excited and looking for folks to share in the anticipation :goodvibes

Oh, and we're even looking on Ebay for pirate costumes pirate:

 Hi FunWithTheKids. Good to see you back on the thread. :yay:

FatherForce, it sounds like you are well on your way to planning a wqonderful cruise. I am also thinking of doing the parasailing. It is something I have always wanted to do. :thumbsup2 Congrats on paying off your trip. Now it's smooth sailing. :dance3:

I was reading up on The Atlantis yesterday and I would really like to go see the aquarium. Maybe we will do this in the morning on Nassua day then walk the straw market or something. So much to choose from :confused3 . No matter what we all choose, I know it will be a great cruise. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:  :sunny:

 Ohhhhhh, I almost forgot.

FatherForce, take a look here http://www.halloweenmart.com for some great Pirate costumes. I already ordered mine and I am soooooooo happy :goodvibes that I won't be the only one wearing a costume on Pirate Night.
