I am sure I'm not alone when I say my kids are unbelievably excited for the trip. I was thinking to help them get through the next 5.5 months, it might be nice to let some of the kids get to know each other. Anybody with kids 5-10 or so that would want to start exchanging some letters or emails?

LOL yes. I will probably cut it off 30 days before our sailing! And I have heard from a few. The more that are involved the more fun it is!

Also, while I appreciate your thanks for my husband's military service -- try not to bring it up when we meet. The night before he left, his bowling league made a big deal about his deployment. He came home and told me how he was "mortified." Though he is my personal hero, he thinks he's just doing his job.

Seems you have to post at least 15 times before you can do that. (This is only my 3rd.) So, I will have to post here. We are 5. DH, myself, DD 4, DS 3, DS 18months. No room assignment yet, but we are looking to be on either deck 1 or 2 since we are unsure about seasickness.

Anywhoo, can you give me an idea of how many cabins/people I need to plan for so far? I am trying to budget for my FE idea. Also, is this one gift per day or one gift per person. How does this work? Are we secret santa's or should we tag and wrap gifts? How do we prevent duplicating gift ideas? Sorry if these are dumb questions. I just want to get things right.

Yes, please add my info. My hubby and I have little kids, they are DS 18months, DS 3, DD4. I found the list you were talking about on page 3. I think I have found a number of items that will make great exchange gifts. I am so excited to do this. It sound like so much fun.

We will also be cruising on September 24th, 2011. We are 3, me, my DBF and my mother as well. This will be our first cruise and we cannot wait!!! We are flying into MCO on the 22nd. Checking in at All-Star Music Resort for 2 nights. We are spending a day at MK and then we're off to the cruise.

No worries...
It will be great even if it's just the 4 families participating. I now know our SR numbers. We are in 2138 & 2140. We got the last two connecting rooms. Whew!

Pending move (Texas to Alaska...whew thats a change) we're booked on this cruise. This will be my 5th (Yay Gold!!!) and my wife's 4th Disney cruise. We'll definitely join up on the fish extender list. At the moment we're GTY (Cat 10A) and we'll know more for sure in the next month reference said move. Hope all is well with everyone and look forward to cruising with ya'll!

As much as I'd love to have a boat practically to ourselves, I sure do hope we have more joiners to the board soon! Even if you don't participate in meets or FE! We'd love to know you're out there! My boys are dying to know if there are any other kids they could start corresponding with before the cruise.

Just back from a quick trip to Disneyland. We missed Johnny Depp by one day! They had everything set up for the premier, though. So, that was pretty cool! I'm going to wait to watch the new POC movie onboard. I've seen all the movies except one onboard the ship. So, it's starting to be a tradition for me. Well, looking forward to this trip!!
