Just got home from Disneyworld last night. My DH said never again. So, guess that means more Disney cruises, right? :woohoo:

OH NO! Why?:confused3 Crowds too much?

On a lighter note.....

199 DAYS!

We are out of the 200's!! YAY!:cool1::banana::yay:

What a great idea. Add us to the list! We're from Nevada and just booked our cruise today! It'll be me (Steph), DH (Brian), DS 9yo (Tyler), and twin 6yo DS's (Alex & Andy).

It will be the kids first cruise. Anyone have any great ideas for how to surprise them with the big news?

Cannot wait!

What about getting the cruise dvd and watching it with them? Then give them a card that tells them what they are doing and when?

You could do a cruise themed easter basket! Tanning lotion, beach towel, sunglasses, disposable cameras, Disney cruise dvd, hidden mickeys goes to sea book, a copy of your itinerary, etc...??

A picture frame with a picture of the ship and cut out pics of the kids and paste them on it. And maybe some disney gift cards?

Or combine them? :thumbsup2 Just some thoughts!

Welcome aboard!

Well folks, after much discussion, DH, DD, and I have decided to cancel our cruise :0(. We decided to wait until our newest DD is a few years older. I'm disappointed, but feel it's the best decision for everyone.

Hope you all have a magical vacation! :goodvibes

I sorry you wont be able to join us, but I'm sure when you do get to cruise it will be awesome for the whole family.

Well, we made it to 180 days.:woohoo: 80 more days and the kids can break out the 100 day count down.

Everyday is one day closer :cool2:

We're out, decided it was way more money then we wanted/should spend.

Hope everyone has a great trip!

Hi Everyone;

I'm Jo. I am a proud Army wife who is currently planning my husband's mid-tour break. We have agreed upon a DCL cruise. If all goes well, our family of 5 will be reunited on the 24 Sept 11 Magic cruise. I am finalizing plans now. I have learned so much from lurking on the boards. You guys are amazing. I thank you for sharing all you know.

So far, I've learned to:
1. book 2 cabins instead of 1
2. book my own flights (using DCL partners)
3. arrive day before
4. buy my own travel insurance
5. shop around for the most OBC
6. apply for Disney Visa CC (and pay it off)

and now I know what a fish extender is.:rotfl:

Welcome Jo! What a special reunion for your family. Hope to meet you and your family in person so we can thank you all for your service to our country!
