Welcome all of you DREAMERS, we are going to have a WONDERFUL time on this beautiful ship. Love seeing all my fellow Georgians on the board. I live in Columbia County, outside of Richmond County; I can’t wait to set sail on the Dream. I will be leaving for the Freedom of the Seas in 9 days I needed my cruise fix. September is a long way off!

Thanks so much I am so excited 9 more days till I am on the Freedom Of the Seas! I just booked the Freedom of the Seas for May 2011 for me and my 5yr old son, RCCL is incorporating the DreamWorks characters on some of the newer ships. I can’t wait to compare the two cruise lines now, since they will have character meet and greets, characters visiting in the MDR's as well as character parades. I guess they have been watching the MAGIC of DCL.I hate to say that RCCL is really copying DCL big time. The Freedom Of the Seas is getting a 3D theater as well as a big screen TV over the pool, I WONDER how this is going to affect DCL. I know that RCCL is a great inexpensive cruise line so I will stick with them for the longer itineraries and keep Disney for the shorter cruises, I don’t think my son would ever speak to me again if I told him we were not going on Mickey's ship

My poor little 6year old brother didnt quite have a great one since he go Duct Tape stuck in his hair and he now has a line where they had to cut the tape out it was a joke that went horribly wrong.
To all the Georgians wasnt it weird being able to wear short sleeves and i even saw a few people in shorts on thanksgiving it just didnt seem normal for it to be in the 70's on Thanksgiving

It now turns out this won't be our first cruise. We have been given a Carnival cruise sailing on 12/25/10 out of Jacksonville. We just booked this past Saturday, so we are scrambling trying to get everything done. It is going to be an interesting Christmas this year......

Yeah my grandmothers husband thought it would be funny it just ended up being sad but of course our family being so compassionate all mu uncles and my septdad were like where is the video camera i could get $10K for this on AFV

Well, a prize from AFV would pay for a couple more cruises.

As to us, we've just been scrambling trying to get everything done before we leave for Disney. We've gotten all of our Christmas shopping done for our DD and most of our shopping done for our extended family (we just need to get it shipped out, which I'm hoping to do tomorrow). It feels so bizarre to be so ahead of the game for the holidays (usually, we wait to the last minute for everything). We are also trying to get all of our scrapbook autograph pages done (we are planning on 17, I think...and have 5 done). It is always a big undertaking, but DH and I always manage to pull through at the last minute. Other than that, we are just counting down. One of my bosses is going to Universal next week to experience Harry Potter, so I hope he gives me some good tips for when we go for a couple days during our trip...we'll see.

This will be an anniversary cruise for us (and the kids will NOT be happy when they find out they aren't coming with us on this one). We would love to do a meet-n-greet on the ship the first day and the FE exchange.

We will be cruising with the kids on a B2B in May, but I am SOOOOO looking forward to this cruise!!! Just DH and I celebrating our 2nd anniversary!!!

Welcome aboard travelgal2 My name is Lainey will be going on the cruise with my DH and it is our 2 year anniversary.
I guess i could keep up with a list of who is doing the FE and i can do what my friend did on our cruise make a map of the ship with every ones room numbers circled on it so that they are easy to find unless there is some one who would like to do it.

"...running the marathon...." is putting it loosely :lmao . We will be walking/jogging the HALF-marathon. I'm taking one step at a time. Literally!

Today wasn't that great for me i went to take a picture of our inflatable mickey christmas lawn decoration and fell down the hill and landed on my ankle i heard a pop so i believe i will be going to the ER to get it x-rayed thank goodness i am off work tomorrow.

so do i but we will see thank goodness my mom had an extra pain pill b/c i dont think an advil would help me right now. My nickname in my family is GRACE since i fall all the time but this would be a first for me i have yet to break a bone.

Well thank goodness I didn't break anything I sprained my ankle and pulled some tendons so they gave me an air brace and crutches woohoo a klutz on crutches this ought to be good.

Maybe your husband should keep a video camera handy..... you might be able to pick up $10,000 on America's Funniest Videos....

I am glad it wasn't any worse than that. Good thing is, you have plenty of time to heal before September

Well my ankle is still hurting and the crutches aren't cutting it my arms are killing me. I hope it gets better by Christmas so how is everyones week been?

Crutches are hard to figure out how to work so they aren't painful. I sure hope you get some relief soon.
You can certainly tell we are getting close to a holiday. People out of work, stores crazy, and Christmas Play practice all the time.

We are trying to get ready for our Carnival cruise next week. I sure hope it goes well..... it will be a trial run for the "Dream".
