September 22, 2012 Fantasy Eastern "From Fantasyland to the Fantasy"

Hey! We've been considering the Kon Tiki as well. It looks like fun! Do you have any idea what time that excursion begins and ends? Since it is only a half day excursion I'm hoping the timing is right to where we might still be able to do something else that day...

I don't! I wish there was more info out there. Seems like it is relatively new at appearing on the cruise line excursion lists again. As I understand it, it was widely known in the late nineties as a major booze cruise...highly pointed to the college crowd who would come back drunk and passed out from the unlimited rum punch. From what I can piece together from cruise critic and trip advisor, it was closed for a while with some refurbs done to the boat and possibly new owners. Now, they are back up and running, but the rum isn't free and it is much more family oriented. . All of this is second hand info though, so I really wish there were more reviews. It looks fun though! I love a steel drum band....bliss! With my youngest being only 4, there aren't very many things that will entertain our whole family and still meet the minimum age and the budget, and this one fits the bill. Counting on Disney to have vetted the excursion pretty well and know what they are recommending! (...hopefully...)

I don't belive this united has changed my arriveal time into orlando from 9:05 to 10:00 am. My plan was to spend the day in HS until four in the afternoon now i'm wondering if i should cancell my one day ticket and just stay at my resort untill the party i have the party ticket . I know that ME more than likey would not leave the airport until 11:00 and then it's another fourty minutes to the resort. Boy i wished that i would bhooked with Alaska air because they have a flight that leaves seattle at 7:00 pm that's a non stop that gets me into mco at 7:45 am. I'm going to call untited on tuesday and see if i can get the ticket refunded and rebook with alaska. darn this sucks

I personally think you'd be better off relaxing around the resort until MNSSHP. You're paying a lot of $ to be at a nice Disney resort why not take some time to enjoy it? Otherwise you may as well be staying at any chain hotel if you are only using it to sleep... Plus after a long plane trip you are bound to be jet lagged. Rest up for your night at the Magic Kingdom and for your first day on the cruise. Either that or get in a day earlier.

Yep that was us!!! And Grandma4ever (Lois) was there too! That was a great cruise! My wife, Jen (Nenner1) was the one who set up the trick or treat, made the lanyards and created the logo.

She is actually in the process of creating a logo for this cruise and so far it looks great! I think she be posting that this week. It was so awesome seeing everyone who used the logo on that cruise to make t-shirts and magnets! I remember many non Dis-ers asking us where they could buy one for themselves...

Called united and changed my flight arrival time. The new time is 10:17 pm. I figuar that i should arrive at PO around 11:00 pm. Is anything still open at that time and also what time dose ME stop luggage delivery? There is another flight that i may change to and that one gets into orlando at 12:20 am. I don't think the hyatt has day rooms at that time. I think that i may just stay with the 10:17 pm. Mashelle
