Hi I'm new to this site and this is my first post here ever!
We are going to be on this cruise in Sept., our first Disney cruise.
This looked like the place to find out who's going to be on the ship?
Or am I to late ;)
Welcome!

Glad to have you onboard! DH and I will be sailing with you - it'll be his first cruise and only my 2nd (did a 3 night Wonder cruise back in May 2005 which hardly counts) so you could say we're in the novice crew too. :thumbsup2 Everyone on here is sooo helpful and I actually feel like I know more than I do due to all the fab tips I've picked up...

Look forward to chatting more over the next 5 months, 3 weeks and 2 days... :surfweb:

Do you know if we can get BASE tickets with the water and more add on package..or do we need 'higher class' tickets to add on???;)
You're fine with the Base Ticket if you want the Water Park Fun & More add on. It just costs an extra $50... :thumbsup2

I just rec'd today the lime green tshirts I ordered from clothingwarehouse.com They are Hanes t's and color is great for DIS.

So now I will put the iron on with Magical Memory Tour of 07 design on one, and probably just the DIS in mickey icon on another.

Once I get the iron on done, I have my boarding shirt ready to cruise WOO HOO!!!!!

Welcome aboard to our newest cruise mates.

I have uploaded some pictures of the incline railroad that goes up the side of lookout mountain in Chattanooga. These were from a previous trip as it was closed for maintenance last weekend. http://tnpapa.smugmug.com/gallery/2632953#139056533

:rotfl: Someone on the Dis said " Everyone has a crazy relative in the family. And if you dont ... You might be the one!"

I only say that because:rolleyes1 in my family....

Okay...everyone :goodvibes SOooo sorry for brining up the whole WDW ticket thing "again"...BUT....When I was reading over the water and more add on ticket for $50 it said that with a two day base ticket and the 'add on' thing you get your pick of 3 add ons....

SO am I reading or understanding this correctly when we purchase the add on deal for $50 we can go to Disney Quest one day, Typhoon Lagoon another day AND Blizzard Beach on yet another day....PLUS still have our two days with our BASE tickets for a couple parks????

We were planning on purchasing a ticket to a water park which looks like that alone will be around $35each.....plus our daughter and all the other teens going want to check out Disney Quest which looks like it'd be another $25 each....SO if that's the case $50 for THREE picks is a SUPER deal. Anyhow...Can someone tell me if this is correct??? Or is it just wishfull thinking on my part;)

Yes, Sandi, you definitely can do all that!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

It's very flexible. For example, you could go to MK one morning, Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon and return to MK in the evening for Wishes!

OR go to Blizzard Beach one morning, MGM in the afternoon and Disney Quest in the evening.

Even tho' you can't park hop, you can leave and re-enter the same park more than once in the day AND you can use more than one WPF&M entry per day - until you run out, of course...

This ticket is perfect for your needs - enjoy!:thumbsup2

More fab photos, Mike! :thumbsup2 That train is amazing...

Boy am I glad that I have DL close to me!:yay:
I have only 2 choices... Disneyland or/ California Adventure ! And if I want a waterpark.... I have Huntington Beach down the road.:cheer2:
All this base price is sooooo:faint:

Karen so glad that your son is home safe and sound.

Kathy and I are finally celebrating the empty nest. Since all the kids have moved out, the water, power and food bills have dropped dramatically. We still get the mom and dad, I need calls and visits.:lmao: :rotfl2:

Mowed the lawn and ran the string trimmer yesterday, but the rain last night will not allow me to finish:banana:  Mike

sorry it took me so long to get back to you all. I've been really busy outside the house (work, yuk!)

I want to thank you all for making us feel welcome. We have some time left yet for me to learn how to use this board.

brady961, here's some information about us to add to the passenger list.
DH - Rick and I'm Wendy
early seating and we'll be on deck 7.

I've taken a little time to look at some of the pictures and trip reports. Can't hardly wait for this...I need a vaction NOW...a Disney vacation! :yay:

Welcome aboard Wendy and Rick! DH Bob and I are first-time cruisers and we've found some SUPER info and tips here! I'm sure you will too!

Mike, great photos - looks like you all had a great time! Thanks for sharing!

Karen, Glad your DS returned intact :)

Sand, like several others who have replied, we love EPCOT the best of all four parks - one thing in particular is that it always feels less crowded than the other parks, perhaps because of its size or the really wide walkways, even our DGD (not quite 3) doesn't get tired of it - there's much to see and do for all ages, especially in WS - a few rides, lots of hands-on fun displays for the little ones, and plenty of food, drink, shopping, and interesting people for the teens through adults! We always make it a point to eat lunch in Mexico - now that I've done it a couple of times, I order the chef's special for that day, and it has always been amazing!

DS wedding yesterday was just lovely - and wonderful to see and visit with so many of the family from out of town!! We have some nice photos, but I will need to get DH (my "IT" guy!) ;) to help me post them here, or a link - since I couldn't figure out how.

Mike, thanks for the breakfast tip for the morning of the 29th - that sounds like a good plan!!

Five months, two weeks, and six days 'til the cruise - we're getting there!! :cheer2:

Marsha, I've been secretly coveting Pal Mickey since I first saw him in the parks! :rotfl: ... telling myself that I will "save" him for my DGD when she's old enough :rolleyes1

Ann, that's a good quote -- and in most families the "eccentric" one is the one who generates the best stories for all the rest, true?

I figured out how to put one of the photos from the wedding into my signature - DS and DDIL walking through a shower of bubbles after the ceremony yesterday!

Hi Wendy! No worries about replying - it's just nice to have another Dis member onboard. TBH I am on the forum way too much - I'm totally addicted at the moment but hopefully I'll be able to wean myself off soon. Maybe there's a program out there that can help me - My name's Karen and I'm a Disaholic.. :rolleyes1 Anyway enough of such nonsense - are you doing the cruise as a stand alone vacation or are you visiting WDW before/after sailing? Sadly DH and I are jetting in for the cruise and heading back to the UK straight after - tho' I am returning to WDW with my DD in October... ;)

Hi Penny! So glad that the wedding went well. Many congratulations to your son and his new bride - they look lovely in the photo! Maybe you could post some more...

Yes, it just feels a bit s-l-o-w at the moment... :hourglass
