Wow, I thought that I would jump on the boards to do a quick update and had to read through a couple of pages to get here. I'm back from my meetings in Chicago, but leave for St. Louis early tomorrow morning. So I am sure I will have lots to read up on when I get back on Sunday.
Great pictures Mike! I will have to show them to DH tonight. He is a Civil War buff and loves visiting the different battle sites. Visiting Gettysburg was definitely a major highlight for both of us.
We are in that great WDW ticket dilemma too. We have a couple of old hopper passes with one day left for the major parks and 5 days left for the minor parks. I'm sure that we will want to visit the major parks more than one day, but are having a tough time deciding what to buy. I hate the new ticket system.
Bob, good to hear from other DVC members. I guess I didn't remember that you and Penny were members. We are staying at BCV the week after the cruise. EPCOT is our favorite park and we love being right outside the door. Although, OKW is my favorite of the DVC resorts. It has a very special place in my heart.

And boy don't you love the Grand Villas there?!? We had thought about changing to the new AKV in June too. But I doubt if it will be too easy and I think I like the idea of being close to EPCOT during the Food and Wine Festival.
Everyone keeps talking about their favorite parks and it is making me "Home" sick. I'm not sure if I have ever had to wait over a year between visits till now. To be honest, we rarely go to the MK anymore. We went this last trip only because we had two newbie’s with us. When we do go, we usually have 5 or 6 favorites that we hit and then hightail it out by 1:00 in the afternoon. Since we have no kids, it drives us a bit crazy to be there when the crowds start pouring in.
We usually spend a lot of time at EPCOT. We love Test Track, Soarin, the Living Seas, and Ellen's Energy Adventure. But neither of cared for Mission Space. We probably spend the majority of our time in WS though. I love all the performers they have there. I try to see Off Kilter, British Invasion, the statues and comedians in France. Oh, and I love the girls that do the drums in Japan. We like to do a couple of wine tastings in Germany, Italy, and/or France. I just know that I could spend a whole day in WS and still have things I wanted to comeback to see. I almost forgot the Holy Grail players in the UK. What a hoot!
I almost hate to say what we do at MGM. We go around 9:00 am and ride TOT and RNR over and over untill the lines are too long or we run out of Fast Passes. TOT scares the pants off of me. But DH needs someone to ride with. However, I love RNR. Then we eat turkey legs and drink beer. I usually need a drink after TOT.

After that we might see a show and then head back to the room. We like the new stunt show. I was getting awful bored with Indiana Jones. The Little Mermaid show is nice if it is hot out. Again, we did most of the rides this last time because we brought people new to WDW. But even with hitting most rides, we were out of the park by mid-afternoon.
At AK, we like the new rollercoaster, Mt. Everest. We also will hit Dinosaur, It’s Tough to Be a Bug, and occasionally the Safari. We also love the Lion King show and the Birds of Prey show. To be honest, it would be tough to spend a whole day here. I think a lot depends on whether you want to see shows between rides.
Thanks for letting me reminisce on what we do at WDW. Oh, I so want to be there!
