thanks for the idea. DCL said I could leave it in the hall at night. I did have an extension cord as I had been told before going that some of the outlets were difficult to reach esp if needed length. I didn't need the extension using the outlet behind the TV. From where our room was I don't remember an outlet near the door. There was a neighbor stateroom that he charged his scooter the hall a couple times at night. not ever night just a few i saw it there.
I really didn't end being a problem, just had to remember to plug up when I could so I didn't have to worry about running out of battery charge. Which actually ended up easy to do whether in the room, atruim, or while watching cruise activities.
Step one of the 12 step PAA (plan aholic anonymous) Confess.
Quote: I too will pack, repack and pack again many times between now and the actuall cruise date. I'll search for the perfect traveling bags in an atempt to make the whole process smoother. ----- It'll start sometime this summer....It'll start first in my head trying to decide what outfits would be the best to bring...then the list in my head will find it's way to paper....where I'll sketch out complete outfits (well not actually sketch...but jot down).... Then I'll see what can be mixed/matched...what can be left out or what needs to be added.
By the time the vacation comes around...I need it BADLY just to unwind from the months of planning
Okay....I'm ready for step 2

OMG you sound so much like me. I really tried out several duffle bags, different size suitcases, etc... until i found what i felt was best. My list was several pages on a yellow legal pad,, unfort though each time I checked something off I usually ended up adding something <G>
I also do the mix/match. take two color of pants. polo tops/camp shirts will match both color of pants. mix/match day and night outfits. except for formal and semi, but then i use my formal outfit pants put a red blouse and i have semi formal.
the pants and polo top i wear during the day, i can wear those pants for dinner just change top to a camp shirt and tank top (casual). I felt I did really well last cruise in my clothes. I only had two tops/camp shirt that I didn't wear. So really I didn't take too many clothes or not enough.
Before the cruise I had decided which pant/top/camp shirt for each day. I must confess that I didn't stick to that once aboard. For me that is actually a good thing. <G>
So I guess at least you and I need to determine step 2 and see if can follow that
But on the other hand if something works for you, why not stick with it, as long as it doesn't add more stress
Step 2 I'm ok being a PAA as long as I don't get stressed out
