Okay....I searched through all the cruise meet threads and didn't see one started for this week...(Please redirect me if I've overlooked it)...And even though it's early...It's never to early to start planning the next cruise... ...So I thought I'd start the thread for the 9/22/07 cruise.

We are a family of four...(DH, Myself and our two DD's 9 & 14 at cruise time)...this will be our THRID Disney cruise...all of which have been booked for the Western (9/11/04 and 10/22/05)...BUT we have NEVER been to Key West, Cozumel or Grand Cayman So we are looking forward to having cruise number three be the lucky charm...and finally get us to those ports. There will be NO hurricanes allowed this time around

So are there any other takers for this particular week???

We're booked on this one also! Party of five - DH, DS (who will celebrate is 8th on the 26th), myself in one room. My parents next to us - deck 7.

This will be our second Disney cruise. Can't wait

Kimika.... I knew there'd be others out there.

I've tryed to stay away...but I just keep getting pulled back. I was doing good for a while...but by the middle of March...I knew the Fall 07 rates would be coming out soon...Then by the time April rolled around I found myself falling off the wagon....and back on the dis. However I can think of a few other things that could be worse. So for now I'm happy with my vice.

As for the torture planning...I figure by having this much time to get things in order and planned..the process shouldn't be that bad. I've kinda gotten myself in the more relaxed take it as it comes mode. I've learned you can't plan everything...becaues sometimes it just dosn't happen. Ya know what I mean....Ivan, Jeanne, Wilma and the list goes on..and on..and on.

Woo Hoo! Well thanks to my good friend Scrapperjill, you can count us in too! This will be our second cruise as well and we can't wait! Hi Kahy! Glad you guys are going too, it will be a blast. Just realized that neither of us has been on our actual itinerary. I signed up for Eastern and got Western, you signed up for Western and got Eastern. One thing's for sure - one of us will be on a new itinerary. Hopefully, it'll be you - I'm really looking forward to going back to Grand Cayman.

I love the planning, dreaming, bookmarking etc. Last cruise had a similar wait, but this one seems so much further away - because I wish it was here today! Hubbie thinks I'm crazy all this reading and planning so far in advance. But hey, I love it!!! and luckily, even with all the planning, I can go with the flow. Heck, you gotta if you're booking cruises at the peak of hurricane season, dontcha know!

Kimika, my DH & Scrapperjill's DH were wondering if we booked an Eastern if we would get lucky & do a Western this time! We were on both cruises with Scrapperjill where we were rerouted. We couldn't think of a time when the Eastern was re-routed, but I guess you just proved it happened! While I would LOVE to finally go Western, I know that we cannot 100% expect it sailing during Hurricane season. Let's hope three times is a charm! I really want to get to Stingray City.

Early morning for me.....

Yep...we were trying to think of ANY time the Eastern had been rerouted into a Western...and couldn't remember ever hearing about one...But I guess it does happen. Kathy's right....we were actually thinking about booking the Eastern...just to make our chances of doing a Western greater...but decided againt it when we couldn't think of a time it had ever been flopped that way.

I don't think I've ever had this long to plan a Disney cruise....but I'm sure I'll find a way to keep myself busy and in the planning mode. I just hope my fellow cruisers don't get sick of hearing it from me. (ya know who I mean) I've started working on a schedule of just how we should go about this long wait and a timeline which I broke down on when we should work on things along with what taskes we need to split up and who would be best to handle such tasks....... LOL...JUST KIDDING. But if you'd like I could make up such a plan.

I think you could be right Kim...about the Stingray boat....hopefully we're going to be FULL The more the merrier...and the cheeper the rate So bring it on...

OH....and Kim for that "slip up" "Y" instead of an "i" You can refere to me as Miss. Scrapperjill from here on out!!!

Well geeez Sandi, I was thinking more along the lines of Miss Nazi Planning Czar, or something like that! I kid, I kid, but seriously, have you thought at all about possibly, maybe, considering WDW for a few days after the cruise?? I don't know if financially it is possible for us, but I would like to keep it on the back burner as an idea. I can't imagine going all the way to FL and not going on Splash Mountain though. Not to mention that although Tiff agreed with the cruise, she made me agree that our next big family trip after this one would be to somewhere else. I had to promise. So I figure, if at all possible I would like to do both, I just have to plan a way to get the cashola without her realizing that we are eating top ramen for a year and a half. Any ideas on how to camoflouge the noodles??

Hello Kimika!! Welcome to our wild an crazy group....so far. lol My name is Kim, my partner is Tiffani, and as you can see below, I have 2 kids, by the time of the cruise, DD will be 15, and DS will be 8. WOW 15, I can't even hardly type it without wanting to pass out. They grow up soooo fast! So, it looks like our youngest will all have a nice little group of friends to hang out with! So, Kimika, what are you looking forward to the most? What was your most memorable thing from your last cruise?

OHHHH and Kathy, do you think we could get your picture disc before the next cruise??? lol I gave Sandi a copy of mine, and I think she is going to send it to you with hers. Right Sandi? I didn't take nearly as many as I thought I did. I would love to see yours cause I think that Jim got quite a few pics of me & Tiff. And I don't have very many of just the two of us.

Yep..I still have my photo disks from this last time sitting in a plie waiting to be mailed.

I do want to spend some time at the world either before or after the cruise. We were actually talking about it...and for some reason were thinking before would be best..but I can't remember why. Of course we'd HAVE to have a complete down day the day before the cuise. I also don't see any good reasons to skip the world if your that close.

I was real bad...I was checking out prices of what it would be to go to the world this fall and was really suprised at at how much it would cost our family of four....with the food plan (during the free time)...it was suprisinly not as bad as I thought it would have been. This will be the second year that I know they've done the free dinning promotion...so maybe just maybe they'll do it again in 07...and from the looks of it they do it right about the timeframe of when we're planning the cruise.

T&KHayes I know! I know!! I keep saying I will get the discs out. I promise I will mail them! (sometime) Ramen noodles huh?? YUM!! For a whole year and a half! UGH!! I will have to make sure I have a stock for you onboard because I wouldn't want you to go through withdrawl!!

So Sandi, were you thinking going down 3 days before like the 19th, or I guess the 18th. That way we could do the world on the 19th & 20th and then spend the 21st swimming, or maybe DTD, or maybe the water park? I definately think going to the world the day before getting on the ship is a bad idea.

I was thinking the world after the cruise would actually be better. I think we talked about that last year. We were all so depressed about going home after getting off the ship, that we thought it would have been nice if we could have gone on to do WDW then and then fly home. Not only that but airfare would be cheaper during the week. But either way it would be during the week. LOL I'm such a dork!

If you remember why you thought before was better let me know. And Kathy I guess we will let you slide, seeing as how even the Nazi planning czar hasn't mailed out her discs yet either!
