Did anyone have snow to remove before they hid and hunted Easter eggs?

CUTE bunny Mike:goodvibes

No snow here...we had a NICE sunny day here in Washington State (at least in my neck of the woods). It did get a little rainy this evening...but that was long after the sun had already set.

Marsha....

You hit this threads 1000th post !!!

#1000

  Way cool does that mean I win something????? :cool1:

Win a free drink (of course only a virgin drink <G>), or something from MouseMates on the cruise by the group here? :rotfl2:

OK... I'll buy you lunch at Topsider's!
Or a drink:cool1:

now that's an offer buying me lunch at topsides :rotfl2:

Hey on the drink I am cheap, bottle water is about all i drink.

I had a virgin pina coloda last time and was sick as a ....... don't think will try that even again. so i stick to bottled water :goodvibes

but the thought is what counts right? so nice of your offering that topsides lunch :goodvibes :rotfl2:

Mike - what an ADORABLE bunny!! We had some snow on Saturday, but mostly gone by Sunday - still cold here, with freeze warnings overnight, mostly directed to the farmers growing fruit trees that have blossomed already.

Unfortunately, the little ones that we would hide eggs for live in Florida now - so maybe we'll go THERE for next Easter :) They told us on the phone yesterday the water in their pool was warmer than the air, and that's a "cold spell" for them :rotfl:

Marsha, thanks for all the design work!! And congrats on the 1000th post!!:flower3:

Hi everyone! Back from a couple of wonderful days in Paris! Weather was gorgeous and we had (as ever) a great time...

Now to catch up with what's been happening...

Eva, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!:cheer2: Smoke-free for 5 weeks and 150 AKV points!!! Fantastic news...

Mike, love that photo of your little Easter Bunny! That grandaughter of yours is an absolute natural in front of the camera... :thumbsup2

Marsha, I so appreciate all the work you've been doing for the name tags - I'll play around with mine once I get some free time - thank you again...

Better go and put my turkey in the oven now as we're having all the kids round for Easter lunch...

Has anyone done the build your own coster in Disney Quest? Is there any additional charges for that? That's the ONE thing my DD realy wants to do there. And is there a limit to how many you can do? AND...those cards they give you that have your coster plans on...do you get to keep those or do they keep them? I think they'd make great Scrapbook stuff...
Sandi, we've done that a few times. No additional charge but it's a popular choice so will probably be a queue. Pretty sure you don't keep the card with your coaster design on - maybe take a photo of the screen showing what your choices are? You can get a DVD of the ride tho... For scrapbook memorabilia, the Disney character tutorial is very cool. You get to keep a printout of the character you drew, a certificate and a pin (for an additional charge!) I can't wait to do that again... :)

...As summer comes on I may be a little later as we start to have some really wonderful summer evenings here in the Sonoma County Wine Country. Sitting out side on the patio w/a glass of wine, a plate of cheese and olives, great music, a book or a game becomes more of a habit than sitting at the computer too early in the evening...

Well, it's a hard life, I must say - I am sooo jealous!!! I would love to visit Sonoma - we were hoping to incorporate it next summer but I think we'll be spreading ourselves just too thinly. DH and I have decided it's a Adults Only vacation for the future... :hippie:
...
What spa treats do you treat yourself to?
Is Palo a must? We have been thinking that we need to eat there at least once. What say you? Will there be a mad dash for Guest Services for all of this ticket buying and reservations? Will I need elbow and knee pads and a big stick to make it through the line? :darth:
Wendy, Palo is definitely a must try. We'll be dining there the evening of our Vow Renewal - can't wait! :thumbsup2 Hope to try the buffet too tho' will probably have to be physically restrained at the sight of all that food!

We're going to try a couple of Spa treatments - I'm leaning towards the Villa for 2 experience at the moment...

Of course! :thumbsup2 The CMs issue protective gear and weapons as you board the ship - this year I'm favouring nunchucks... :lmao:

That's what friends are for Marsha! :thumbsup2 Water it is!

just love having friends like you :thumbsup2 That bottled water could have a twist of lemon. Or maybe one of those drinks of the day but virgin ??? :lmao: Just not another pina coloda. And no strawberries, well unless you prefer me evacuated from the ship :rotfl2: Oh wait I will bring my epi-pens but still I know a friend like you wouldn't do that to me right?:confused3

Karen, Welcome back! :wave2: It sounds wonderful - both Paris and Easter lunch with the kids :grouphug:

Welcome back Karen. Glad that everyone had a great Easter. Left overs for dinner tonight. Marsha, congratulations on snagging post #1000.

Kathy started her new job this morning. Got off to a bad start though, went to McDonald's to get her a bite to eat, and they messed the order up. She was highly agitated.

Taking the oldest grand daughter to preschool this morning and picking her up this afternoon. Have to get the wife at 7pm this evening and dinner to fix in the mean time.

Everyone should try Palo's at least one time along with the brunch. Chocolate souffle is great. Mike

Mike, What a sweet little bunny. My 16 month old DGD wore the exact same dress yesterday.

Hi Everyone. I have some good news and some not so good news. I took a home pregnancy test last night and it was positive. Of course that's the good news. The not so good is that if I am pregnant, I will miss the cruise. DH and I have been trying for about two years now and I had convinced myself that I would have to lose weight before it happened, or be tested for fertility issues. I went and had blood drawn this morning to confirm and should have the results by noon tomorrow. If I am pregnant, I will be at 6 months on the cruise date which is when you are no longer allowed to cruise. I'm really happy and hope that I am, but I'm sad that I will miss the cruise. I've decided to wait to cancel the cruise until the latest date to get a full refund just in case (not to sound negative, but the first few months can be risky and I don't want to jinx it!). I will keep you updated.

Congratulations Melody. Hope that you get what you wish. Sorry if you are not able to cruise with us, but having a baby is a lifelong memory:thumbsup2

Eva I think that my son and his wife shop at the same place that your DGD shops. Mike

Melody, I'll try not to jinx you by saying an early congr****ations. But as Mike said, there will always be other cruises. A child is for a lifetime. Hope all goes well.

Mike, I will have to figure out how to post a picture of my DGD, Lexy. The only difference is that it was not warm enough here to wear the dress without a sweater. So she has a little white sweater on over the dress. I had bought her little pink and white sandals to go with the dress. But she had to wear tights with the sandals too. The high yesterday was only 44 degrees.

Karen, Glad to have you back. Did you enjoy Paris? Where did you stay? Any fun activities?
