**September 2019**

I asked this on the reservation forums but no one has answered, I am hoping you guys can help a newbie out:

We are booked 9/29-10/4 at Beach Club. Decided to come in a day early (9/28) and stay at Pop Century. My in-laws decided to join the trip and are staying straight 9/28-10/4 at Pop Century. Therefore, my in-laws can make ADRs 1 day before us for the whole trip because they don't have a split stay.

I am handling 100% of their planning and we are linked on MDE. Can I log in as my mother in law, then change the reservation contact to myself, and book all of the ADRs 180 days from 9/28? otherwise I need to wait to 9/29 to do it under my account. Help!

Anybody else have a snow day today?? Luckily, school was called off at 9 PM last night, so we knew and could sleep in! We got lots of snow, though, and it drifted a lot leaving some 2 feet tall piles in our driveway, while other spots only had a couple inches.

I just looked at accuweather and it says snow accumulation of 1-2 FEET between now and Thursday afternoon. Yikes! I hope they're wrong on that!

We are planning on school tomorrow, but everybody's saying Wednesday will most likely be called off as the high is supposed to be 1. Realfeel -22. Ouch.

It's hard to believe that in 7 months we'll be at Disney with our faces melting off! LOL!

Well we were suppose to have a snow day, and I guess we technically still are since schools were cancelled last night, but we are missing a very important ingredient for a snow day...SNOW! apparently the rain moved faster than expected so it was gone before the temps dropped so we just got rain and now snow. The good news is that means no ice, which is what we would normally get here in North Alabama. This just means DD will be able to go to her physical therapy appointment at 10:15.

I believe so, but if not why not just leave MIL as contact? If it won't let you drop down your name just leave her.

also - that is too stinking cold Hope all those in the polar vortex stay warm!

Bummer when you are looking forward to it though :\

I can choose myself and I did a test reservation for 180 days from today and it worked. I just wasn't sure if I could do it for the whole trip...I'm thinking it will not be a problem.

I don't want to keep her as the main contact because they're older, haven't been to Disney in almost 20 years, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're too tired to make it to dinner, or too full even (we're on Deluxe dining). So I wanted to keep in control of it all to be safe.

We are booked at Wilderness Lodge September 3rd - 12th. Our first time stay at WL. Very excited to see September planning and everyone's ideas. Please add to Roll Call. Thank you

Ok, I changed my dates to September 1-September 8, still at Contemporary! We decided to do the Labor Day MNSSHP like we did last year! My 8 year old starts competition dance next season so this will be the trip before it all begins the day after we return! I changed dates the first time cause she didn’t want to miss any dance for Disney. She wants to be a professional ballerina. At least, we still get to go! In 2020, they will have nationals in Orlando so we will get two trips to disney that year! Yay!!!

Also here in GA, we were under a winter storm warning. Schools closed, businesses closed, state government closed. However, there has been NO snow, barely any rain and temps haven’t dropped below freezing. Supposed to be in the 20’s tonight so we shall see.

You leave a couple days before my husband and I arrive but it will be our first stay at WL as well. I'm looking forward to it.

Great googly moogly, the weather here is ridiculous! We had a snow day yesterday and today. School is already called off for tomorrow as the high is projected to be 0 and it is still snowing/drifting. Today it is a balmy 8 degrees. Realfeel -20. They're talking Thursday could also be called off as the high is projected to be 5. GAH!

This is Michigan if you're wondering.

We had a couple Orlando Nationals when my daughter danced competitively, which was for at least 10 years! The money you save when they are done dancing can seriously pay for some awesome Disney vacations!

Kind of jealous when I see snow pictures but seeing those temps really helps extinguish any jealousy lol I will take our wonky winter.

Ha! I bet! We’re looking at paying thousands a year for competition dance. This is our first year staying deluxe and even with free dining, still pretty pricey. But it’s our one family vacation a year and I can’t even imagine what money will look like once my daughter is done with competition dance. Which will probably be in 10 years lol!

Thanks to those who posted here, I set my alarm for 7 AM to check on SW flights even though there's a snow day (AGAIN--4 in a row!) and I can sleep in. 7:04 they weren't up. Laid back down. Checked again at 7:08 and flights were up. We're hoping to pay for both flights in points. Outbound flights were at $319. Uh, no. Don't have enough points for that. Checked return flights and they were at $136. Yes, please! So we have only our return flight booked. Last year the same thing happened only both outbound and return flights were $319. I waited it out and flights went down enough that I had enough points, then down again a couple times and I got points refunded. So, hopefully that will happen again!

It's so odd to me they only opened September up today. Our stay is 9/28-10/4, and I can't even check the return flights for my trip. I am waiting for Spirit to release their Sept/Oct dates because we prefer them because our closest airport is Spirit-only. Hopefully it's any day now!

Hi guys! I am excited to join this group! We will be at Disney 8/31-9/8! First half of the trip 8/31-9/5 at Coronado Springs, then the last few days at All Stars Movies. This will be our first time at Coronado. The last 2 times we stayed at Beach Club and it is awesome! This time we aren't going to visit Epcot (i know, I know!) so it doesn't make sense to pay the premium to only walk to HS (which is a longer walk anyway). I hope we aren't disapointed. I've heard that Coronado is the "deluxe" of the moderates lol! We have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside before and were happy there so I can't imagine Coronado will be any different!

Thanks for the tip about Southwest opening flights today. I looked and can get them for 150 roundtrip for my family... we normally drive, but with the new parking fees at the resort, it makes flying an easier argument... My DH is staying mum so far. Haha! He must be processing all the "Disney Math" I sent him!
