We have never gone and are really thinking about it this year, seeing as though now that DS is going to middle school his days of being pulled out of school are dwindling. I think it probably being a one time thing would be worth the cost however going so early in the month makes me nervous that it will be super crowded and busy. We were thinking the Sept 8th. Can anyone describe their experiences early in the month so I can get some insight? TIA!

In 2014 We went on 9/9 and had an excellent time! It didn't feel crowded at all. A little misty rain helped that as well lol we stuck it out and had a great time regardless.

That time in September is great. It's a bit hot, but it rains in the afternoons. It's not going to be crowded at all. The crowd calendar that I use (which is pretty reliable), said that the 8th is a high of 90 and low of 74 with a crowd level of 2 out of 10.. Not bad at all !

Thanks! That was going to be one of our mornings off anyways so hopefully the night wont be too bad since we should be rested up! And its a school day so fingers crossed for good crowds! Im so excited
Just nervous about getting the kids costumes so early because they don't even know about the trip.. Im going to have to be sneaky and find out about that in August which Im sure will confuse the heck out of them, since i'm one of those "get the costume the day before halloween" people.

We haven't stayed there yet but have visited. I am surprised that you are the first to sign up for that resort.

Me too! I think lots of people just post on the Y&B club thread & get their dates posted their instead of on the monthly threads.

I have lost count of how many times we've stayed there. The Sept trip is a bounceback from a pre- Christmas stay. We are not pool people, except for StormAlong Bay. We typically do a park in the AM, swim for a bit after lunch then do signature restaurant for dinner.

Yeah. We fly in the 21st and it really just depends on flight times. If we come in late, we'll stay with friends offsite til the morning. If we come in early, we'll get one more night at Pop.

Same thing on the way out. If we fly out late, we'll spend the day in the resort.
