Just got a full size with Dollar $143 (all fees and taxes included) 9/23-9/29 using the city deals on their website. This is down $26 from when I booked with the same city deal last week....it pays to keep checking back! (this is p/u and return at TPA)

Is anyone finding better deals on minivans? Lots of talk about mid size and full size vehicles so far. For me I have a minivan from e-rent a car from 9/27 - 10/5 for $301 using their savers plan. That's gone ups few bucks since and no one in terminal comes close unless I'm missing a promo.

I've seen better deals at Tampa airport than at MCO. I think with Dollar's city special at Tampa for my 9 days was like $391 for a minivan where as at MCO it was around $574, but that was days ago.

I've seen that Tampa is cheaper too but already have cheap flight to MCO. Hoping for prices to drop as it gets closer.

I'm getting a similar rate using the annual passholder rate. If you're a passholder you can try that

Saw a drop in mid sized SUV this morning through Costco.
For my times, it went from $210 down to $174.

Sorry to all of the non-Costco members.
I don't seem to be much help to you guys.
Seems like all of the movement is through Costco right now.
Hopefully as time draws closer, we will see everyone's rates dropping!

Switching to those codes instead of using the ones Costco automaticly used on it's website saved us $16 off our rental. So we have a Standard through Alamo for 9/11-9/21 for $210. Hoping with the upgrade to full size that we could get a minivan or one comes up cheaper otherwise I'm riding Disney transport to and from the cruise! I'm conflicted as it would be faster to just all ride together, but oh the ability to get on the Disney bus alone and read all the way there vs riding in the car with the kids, DBF, his mom, and sister.....

I have also seen a big drop in my rates, and I'm non-Costco.

Dates are 9/25-10/5 (9 day 13 hour rental) at Sanford.

Started with a $277 rate via National but a few days ago found using the 20% off code and free day coupon got me a $220 rate with Alamo, woohoo! This is for a standard size. We drive a Corolla at home, so DH always asks if we can get a bigger/nicer car for a rental and he does all the driving so that's a compromise I can live with LOL!

Yesterday morning I checked again and my rate with the same codes through Alamo was down to $187 . I usually don't get a great rate (in my opinion) when we fly into Sanford so I love it that they are going down this early. I can live with the $187 but will be thrilled if it goes lower.

I am loving the dipping rates, hope it continues!

I use carrentalsavers.com, they put in the codes they have and I go with it. One of them is already listed in the first post, the other may be also, but here it is:

Thanks, not a passholder either. The rate I have is pretty good, but if I was able to find the same rate with Alamo that would be great as I would get the extra driver. I was hoping for a Visa rate with Alamo like I had in May (full size $7 a day!!) but that promo ended 6/30 and they haven't offered a new one.
