Brand-spanking new to the forum ....and planning on being in WDW 9/21-9/26. Hopefully at the CBR....I was going to make reservations today but...the system's down. Argh!
This will be hubby and kiddo's first time and my fourth (though all three times were from 1985-87, so I guess I'm a first-timer to 21st century WDW!).

Thanks! I'm finding alot of great info! And finally got through to make my reservation! Got a water-view pirate room at CBR....didn't really want/need a pirate room, but that's all that was left for military (stinks that they only reserve a certain % of rooms for military discounts instead of just allowing you to book whatever's available to the public).

My little princess is 8 (going on 18!).

The best thing we did was to invest in hand held air conditioners. The first one we bought was a brand name one called a Handy Cooler. They regularly sell for $80 but we found this one on line for $29.99. At the same time we found a generic one just called Hand Held Air Conditioner for $10. These were the best investments we could have made. They come with a strap and we were able to hook them up on either side of ds's wheelchair handles so that they were aimed at him.

How well did the $10 ones work? I am really thinking about getting them for our trip.

Woohoo my trip countdown dropped by 2 days. It's now at 94. We're going to disneys Hilton head resort for 2 nights prior to our free dining trip. I love my dh

This will be our first trip without any kids!! Our youngest graduated this year and will be heading off to college so we thought we'd celebrate by going to WDW. We will also be celebrating our 23rd Anniversary. I am so excited about having this time with DH and how great it's going to be to do what we want without the whining or arguments (yes teenage boys whine and argue, shocking I know )

We will be there 9/21-9/28, staying at CSR, requested Casitas. We will be doing DxDDP-lots of signature meals planned!

celebrating our 25th anniversary Sept 2-8. first trip in 22 years without kids. woohoo. Staying at POR

So we have changed our resort several times since we booked.. DH really wanted to stay Poly CL again but just couldn't swing it this yr..

So now we are at CR Tower room with bay lake view Sept 8-15 Staying at Holiday Inn DTD on Sept 7th.. We are going to be teenager free celebrating our anniversary!!
