September 2012 roll call

I cannot wait to read about these glorious adventures in your TR's.

i have my suitcase open on the bed in the spare room from when we were planning our trip this year... Every time i see it when i walk past i get a little pang in my heart.

Go crazy and have a few drinks each day for me!!

Alicia, I will!:goodvibes

I have been planning this trip for the last 12 months. But the months have really gone by sooo fast.

I know next year seems an awfully long way off but it really will come around sooner than you expect especially when you have sooo much to plan!

It sounds stupid but as I get closer to a trip I really kind of want time to slow down a bit - I love the anticipation and it's almost bittersweet to know that I've only got another 11 days of anticipation. I know that sounds nuts but it's true!

When I come back I'll be living vicariously through all your planning and anticipation instead :)

Happy and safe travels to all the September travellers! I will wait to hear your stories as you go or on your return!
And I'll wave to you all as I speed towards LAX in October!! (30 days for me now!! :) )

I know what you mean! Yesterday was 2 months till we leave and 3 months till it's all over:( Once it is here it will be gone too fast...

And the planning is so much fun!

The friends we are meeting up with in WDW left yesterday. Saying goodbye to them at the airport had me thinking that the 9 days before we leave would drag. Today flew so we are 1 down and 8 to go.

Still need to book a car.

The kids are down to fingers on one hand and waving their Mickey toys around. Getting them checked again at the doctor on Wednesday to see what is going on with their ears and tonsils, I hope they've cleared up.

nine sleeps

woke up in a cold sweat last night...bad passport dream again:confused3

here we go!

I bought another top yesterday, so that makes 4 tops

Target have some shorts, might wait to see what the sale is this week before I buy them

10 sleeps!

The dreams are always horrible!

I had a shocking night sleep last night too. I was already in bed when DH went looking for his ( ridiculously expensive!) noise cancelling earphones and "they're not in the cupboard!!" Of course, I was the last peson that had handled them and I could have sworn I put them back in the cupboard....spent the night thinking I'm going crazy.

Looked in the cupboard this morning...and they were there of course, had slipped down behind the stereo.

14 days to go. All I have to do is book DL to USH transfer and pack, like packing is a small task with 2 small children :rotfl:at least this time next week I will be able to open up the suitcases and start throwing things in!

Any suggestions or recommendations for transfers? I was just going to book through All Anaheim Tours, seeing as though Grayline won't return my emails , transport only as we have tickets

my DH swore i had sold off his new grey work pants..i told him he must have left them at work after getting changed for the gym...oh no....you've lost them/ sold them/ ate them he said.....

yup, they were in his office.....i hate it when they do a blokey look..drives me nuts:rolleyes1

I tell mine to look on the floor as that's where he puts them when he gets into bed. I leave them there now and make him pick them up when he gets home the next day. My two sons are just the same with a 'man look'.

Okay I went into the supermarket to get some gum tree oil to take with me on the flight for my kids blocked ears. I saw the tea tree oil and thought I'd have a look at that. Well I'm NEVER doing that ever again. To the complete sod that decided it was a good idea to place a glass bottle of tea tree oil on the shelf rather than report that you'd broken it to the supermarket, you'll be pleased to know I picked the bottle up and the bottom fell right out and my merino top and my trousers were soaked with oil. It was lucky my kids weren't standing underneath me or it would have got in their eyes. Now I have two ruined garments thanks to your thoughtlessness. And I smell. Bad.

I just bought a pair of tracksuit pants (for the plane) and 2 new bras ( I don't like the ones they sell over there :duck:)

So I think I have enough to get me through a few days until I can shop up a storm

Yep I was delayed 10 mins having to fill out the form and wash my hands (which have huge cuts all over them and tea tree stings) etc etc. No offer to pay. Not suprised really as this is NZ, although the supermarket is usually very good at customer service they missed the ball here. It's still all over my torso skin, stinking and not feeling particularly pleasant but I'm not able to wash until I throw the kids in the shower in about an hour. All because I thought some gum tree oil or tea tree would help my kids ears. :headache:

DH just strode in from his day down in Chch and said 'what's that ming then?'. He can pack his own bag then...

You know I may just take them into the store in a bag. It's a pair of trackies but I liked the merino top and it was newish too (three months old is new for me - I have GAP tshirts that DH made me throw away as they were over 10 years old).

11 sleeps :cool1::cool1:

Got my Disney cruise documents in the mail today. Had to hide in my bedroom to read it all. DD doesn't know about the cruise yet and not sure how/when to tell her.

I have the next 3 days off work then working right up until we leave. So the next 3 days are my last chance to make sure everything is done, bought, organised and to start packing.

Would someone be able to bring me back updated WDW park maps for the 4 parks pls? Especially Magic Kingdom, it will be so different since we were there in 2010 in the Fantasyland area.
