Well, we're off to bed and will be back up at 3:30am to get out of here! We have an early flight to catch that's an hour drive from here. For those of you leaving before I get back, have a VERY MAGICAL vacation!!!! See you in 10 days!

Thanks to everyone posting minitrip reports I really appreciate it! Gives me something even more to look forward too as its as close to real time action as we can get right now!! I have work commitments the next two nights afterwork, then one on Saturday morning, a wedding, a 2to3 page paper to do by Sunday not to mention getting everything done at work so I can leave...and then I can really get ready for vacation!! Wish me good luck the next couple days as I try to get it all done!!

In 24 hours from right now we should be on Magical Express pulling into DISNEY WORLD!!!! Nope I'm not excited at all....

I know you are already there but have a fabulous trip!!!!


Well we have all of our stuff for our trip, just have to get it organized and packed now....I got to go to the Phillies game tonight, it was almost a 2 hour rain delay, but they got the game in . Tomorrow I need to get started on packing. For those that already went, if you flew did you notice tighter security and longer security lines? Just trying to see how things were flowing at the airports

I really couldn't make sense out of the FP system. Sometimes we could get a FP within a hour. Other times is was around 2 hours.

The reason for the varying return times is that more fast passes had been issued for the rides with the later return times. They issue only so many passes for each return time. When one time frame hits it's limit, it jumps to the next one. On some rides such as TSM you can get a fast pass at 10am with a return time at 7pm! (during busy times) Hope this helps. Glad you had fun!

Ok so here is my 2 cents on the cruising! We have cruised Disney 4 times. I don't find it that bad.....I mean this WDW vacation cost me $2500(I think) and that's with reg dining(I would consider cruise delux dining) which would have cost me like $3500 at WDW. Our Fantasy cruise is costing me $3400 for 7 NIGHTS!!! So honestly cruising isn't that bad. I will say the best way to get a deal is like you said Sept/Oct. Also if you sail, ALWAYS rebook onboard. You get a savings and then a substantional OBC. You can book a yr or more out and put down your 500 and then move the date later when something else comes out you like better! I plan on always rebooking onboard...we got a great OBC that will cover almost all our tips($300). I can't imagine cruising less then 7....we love the week...3/4 is too short!! I know people like it but we spoiled ourselves cruising 7 right from the start. Well I can't wait to see and hear about your vacation!! Hope you get to Live on the Fantasy once and enjoy 7nts

Thanks for the cruising info. We are planning to try a cruise in the next year or two. We were thinking of a Mediterranean cruise. Have you done one of those? But I would take a 7 day on the new ship too! You really make it sound great.

I got a little pixie dust today! When I told my dad that we decided to go to MNSSHP, he offered to buy the tickets! He heads down south to AZ (We're in Canada) every year around mid october, and usually gives the kids Christmas gifts before he leaves. So he said this was the perfect thing for him to buy! Sooo awesome, I really wanted to go but was cringing on the $320 price tag for all 6 of us, so this was a very welcome surprise!

That's so great! I'm going for the first time on the 13th of September and can't wait!

Just finished our online check-in! Finished packing DD5 princess outfits she wants to wear at the parks. Only thing left to pack are toiletries and carry on bag. Here's hoping the next 10 days fly by then the 8 after that go REALLY slow!!

Shhhq - Jedi Mickey - AWESOME!

Walmart had clearance Old Glory v-necked tees for $3 yesterday, so we are making more t-shirts. Frankly, I am so touched that my girls WANT to be matching. I told them 6 outfits was enough. One of our shirts that I still have to make is a hidden Mickey. We each have a different colour neon t-shirt and are painting in black part of Mickey's head on each, so when we stand together a hidden Mickey appears. In theory it works....we'll see.

Yesterday, we came up with making Eeyore tails to pin on our butts.
(we're a little extra goofy when we are in WDW)

Only 7 days left and now I have a show this weekend that I wasn't planning on, so the time will zip by!

That's a good point! The only time we pre-ordered and bought a CD was on our 2007 trip. I guess it would make sense to just purchase it since there's really no risk and I can just cancel if we don't get enough photos, etc
