Oh yes! It was super cute as always! Good job! :thumbsup2

We leave in 11 days!! (check in will be 2 weeks from today). Hope you all don't mind if i crash your thread for a bit, I think the people around me are getting sick of hearing about it! Well, except DH at least ;)

I finished the boys' autograph books, my 4yo has been camping with my mom so I'm about to sneak off to load up his Mickey tote with goodies for the drive so he doesn't see them!

My neighbor and I made the final touches last night on my costume and this weekend I need to do DS1's. Can't believe its finally September!

You guys really made me smile this morning. ON the way to school with DD today I reminded her that we leave in 10 days for Disney World and the smile on her face when she realized how close we are was great.

I felt a little off a few weeks ago about the Disney trip too. So much going on at work and with the family on top of being exhausted from a whirlwind work trip to San Francisco and then to Memphis... But I am reminded of how much fun I have every time I go and the happy squeee feeling I get when I pass under the front gate.

Before people start dropping from the boards to actually *go* on their trips, I want to encourage people to come back and report on the fun or funny things that happened and thank you all for being here the past 10 months!

HAPPY SEPTEMBER!! Can't wait to hear about everyone's trips as they go and come back!
So I don't know about some of you, but I've been looking to pick up a couple extra pair of shorts for our trip, and just hoping to stock my summer wardrobe for next year on the cheap....and maybe I have just waited too long but nice shorts are hard to come by!! Kohls is dang near sold out, Target has some not in all sizes and still want $18 for them! Have only checked Old Navy online and they don't have much for sizes, haven't had time to check in store yet. Haven't checked Penney's yet. Any other ideas ?

September DISers I need some help! As our vacation draws closer I find that I've had SOOO much going on that I'm actually out of the Disney spirit. We're almost two weeks away and I actually don't feel excited anymore. :sad2:

I guess when we moved to the cities and that whole struggle I was so overwhelmed. Then the new job began and I'm even more overwhelmed by trying to adjust. Things are starting to get better and I'm getting more used to my lifestyle down here (it's only been a week :scared1:) but I'm afraid I've lost the Disney spark. What shall I do?!

As others have said, that's not at all unusual. I personally don't get that feeling, but I totally understand it. I get really excited when I get on the ME bus and they start playing the corny video. Meanwhile, if you go to D-cot.com and listen to the Disney music, it may help. They play music from all the parks and many of the attractions and it never fails to lift my spirits. Good luck!

Found some great stuff at Wal-Mart tonight for our trip! They had small notebooks on clearance (school supply stuff), and I bought an adorable one for $1.50. It even has some plastic inserts in it to put little momentos in. (I'm going to try really hard to journal during my trip...or at least on the way home!) Bought retractable sharpies for autographs. Picked up an adorable little sticker/activity type booklet in the party section for $3. I picked Mickey, but they had Toy Story, Fairies, and Princesses too. Lots of repositionable stickers and little scenes to decorate with the the stickers--perfect for the plane ride!

And, my best find....Mickey bandaids! So cute!!

Love the Mickey bandaids! :thumbsup2 Sounds like you really scored some great items. So much fun to gather all that stuff!:goodvibes

WOOT! WOOT!
I am starting to get sooooooo excited!! I need to go back over the list to see who else will be at POFQ sept 17-24 I love the feeling when you arrive on the Magical Express and walk into the lobby........it's like coming home, only better!

POFQ is our favorite resort! We are staying at WL this trip, and I know I'll miss FQ. The guy who opens the doors for you is priceless! Love the boat to DTD too. Have fun!:yay:

Oh yes! I second this! I want to hear all about everyone's trip. When I get back, it will help to know some of you are just arriving at Disney and I can relive my trip through you all. ;)

ShhhQ, great job as always. You're getting so close!

:banana::banana::banana:

20 more days until I'm on an airplane headed towards WDW! I can't believe it's almost finally here after so many years of dreaming and months of planning!

We took the kids in for the first day today and I talked to the teachers already about them being away for 7 days, they were both fine with it and said it's a good time of year to miss if they're going to miss at all. So that makes me feel better! I just hope they both remember to not mention it, I stressed to both of them that it's a surprise and they won't know about the trip until the morning after their last day of school so they can't mention it! That would be horrible to have the surprise wrecked after all this time lol.

Now that kids are gone I can finally start making my Park cheat sheets and packing lists and what not, I haven't wanted my older two to see what I'm up to because I'm sure they'd figure it out!

This morning I couldn't wait to get on to see how excited everyone was since it is FINALLY SEPTEMBER! I was right everyone seems to be bursting at the seems!!!!!!!!!

Hey, guess what?

Two weeks from right now, I'm going to be sitting at my desk, trying to finish up work while bouncing around with excitement!!!!!

We are headed to TN for the football game this weekend and I spent almost an hour last night searching for DD2's TN shirt. I finally found it....already in the pile of things to take to WDW. Ooops. :rolleyes1:laughing:

I'm back!! We're going on our honeymoon September 27th-4th and we'll be staying at Riverside!! We added a day onto our honeymoon, we may change the flight that day so we can go earlier I have to talk to DF.

If anyone has any suggestions of some things we should do, please let me know! I have some ADRs as well, and sort of have an idea of what we're doing, but suggestions are appreciated!! We'll have the military tickets (4 day, fun and more option, park hopper)

ADRs
Tony's 9/28 7:25pm
Teppan Edo 9/29 7:50pm
Ohana's 9/30 9:45am
Chef Mickey's 10/3 11:10am

Schedule (Tentative)
Tuesday: Arrive (if we change our flights that would give us this whole day to do stuff too...)
Wednesday: Water Park (have to pick which one), dinner at Tony's
Thursday: EPCOT and maybe park hopping elsewhere, dinner at Teppan Edo
Friday: Breakfast at Ohana's, jet ski, MNSSHP :thumbsup2
Saturday: No idea!
Sunday: Waterpark we didn't do Wednesday (?), relax by the pool (maybe...lol)
Monday: Breakfast at Chef Mickey's, sea racyers (DF wants to do these, so much fun)
Tuesday: Go home!

Its just DH and me:love: I booked the trip last week and just upgraded us from the CSR to CR tower bay view. I have no plans yet. I am working on ADR's for the dining right now. I have NEVER done a WDW trip srup of the moment or without kids:cool1:

Please update ours - we've added an extra day so now we're 17-25. 16 days - yay!

Martin
