Those of us still here are going to have to make lots of noise lol! So, what one character do u want to make sure u see? For me it's the dwarfs at MNSSHP.

DH and Cod-Man can't wait to meet Phinneas and Ferb...I can't wait to see the fab5 and the princesses, I have never had a picture or autograph from any of the princesses or tinker bell, that is my goal for this year

As for me, the dreadful fires consuming the surrounding areas are dominating our news right now. 1800 + homes lost so far. Just devastating. Thanks to you guys, there is something to smile about when I get online.

Oh no flames allowed in our September group!!! That's one of the reasons I love this group so much!!!!

My husband is a volunteer fire fighter here in our town,so he has been watching the fire coverage....I can't even imagine! I'm glad you have DIS to keep you smiling!

I'm getting my hair done today too!!! Have to look my best to go see Mickey!!

If we go the 27th, Clara is a tink, and I know Basketkat has a LGTB too lol. I'd dress like tink too if I was as cute as them. As for now if we go I am making a QofHearts inspired costume which will in no way be authentic.

Hey There, I'm returning to WDW for the first time in over 10 years in less than a week! So excited, but at the same time worried. Living in the NW for the past 15 years I have gotten used to somewhat mild weather during the summer time. Is anyone familiar with WDW weather during hurricane season? Should I worry about Hurricane Maria?

We have gone in Sept the last couple of years and the temps won't be much hotter than it is here right now. Mid to upper 80's. It will be more humid though. Usually a chance of rain every afternoon. Since these are the hottest days we've had all year you should be well prepared for WDW.

YEAH - hopefully that means my last piece of Mickey Mail will be here soon - we are still missing our ME passes... and no way am I getting stranded at the airport with THREE kids!!! (listed people in the rooms so we got both the free dining for 1 room and the free kids for the other)

Hey y'all!!!

So, DH informed me that he decided to rent a car for our trip next week. Ummm, okay...I guess. He decided about a month ago to have the windows in the car tinted so that "it was cooler on our drives to Florida". Okay, so you spend over $400 on window tinting and then decide to rent a car?!?!?! Where is the logic in that?



Anyway, we are picking up a standard SUV on Thursday afternoon now. It will be nice to have the extra room, but it still seems silly to me.

I finally told DD9's teacher that she will be missing school the week we are gone and he is getting some stuff together for her. I'm hoping to get it sometime next week so that she can work on it a bit before we leave.

Last night, DH and I were browsing the DIS and my DD2 saw what we were doing and said "I wanna go Disney World!" We, of course, said "Okay, next week." She said a little louder "I wanna go Disney World!" Again, "Okay, we are going to go next week."

At that point, she yelled at the top of her lungs "I wanna see Mickey Mouse at Disney World!" and walked away. DH and I couldn't help but giggle. The girl knows what she wants and when she wants it.

Sick sick sick but never gonna change - makes me excited to think I can go on the rides more than once without taking too much time... maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to do the teacups 40 times after all.... 6 min wait, 3 min ride... hmm - 40 x 3 = 120 min + 40 x 6 = 240 mins x approx 25 spins per minute =

Those wait times are AWESOME!!! I hope it's like that next week too

On another note I just got a little bit of pixie dust, I had commented before about wanting to get rid of our ADR for Hollywood and Vine and wanted to get Tusker House for breakfast....well I JUST got it!! We have ADR for Chef Mickey on Tuesday, or first morning at WDW and now we have an ADR for our last morning at Tusker House....I am sooo excited!

Good point! That isn't a bad wait time at all and if it is a park to avoid that is even better

Yay! You'll be there soon. And I'm so excited for you and your first official DVC trip. On Facebook this morning, they were just telling members to pick up their new blue member buttons from a DVC information desk. Wish I were one of them!
