As a DCL vet.......you should actually see some of the extravagant outfits we've had made for previous cruises and some for the upcoming one as well!! It's killing me that our Sept. Dream cruise will only be 3 nights!!! I'm used to having 7 nights of cruise attire made for DD! lol. I'll post pics later! Gotta get to bed now! The birdies are starting to chirp, so it's time for me to go to BED! ;)

And I think pillowcase dresses look great on 7 year olds!! You can always get some that aren't so "frilly" and full of bows if she isn't in to that sort of thing anymore.

I would love to see your outfits. Somehow I never stumbled upon all this when my DD's were little and started cruising 5 yrs ago. On all our cruises I have just matched them. All the girls in our group are gonna have matching outfits for MK & AK. as well as bathing suits for waterparks. They will love it , not cause they are matching their sib's but cause they are matching friends:rotfl:

For all of us who were just discussing airfare.......Airtran is having a sale. It's a HUGE discount for our tickets right now so you might want to check your area too, if you have Airtran flights in your area!! Woo hoo!!:thumbsup2

Amy you are my favorite DISer today! We have a flight down; now I just need to figure out when we are coming back. :rotfl:

will be there Sept. 23-Oct. 1. Have taken my daughter a few times, but 1st trip for 5 yr. old son-very exciting for him! First time at POFQ also.:)

I think (?) somebody on this thread mentioned the mock smocking fabric they have at Jo Ann fabrics. I asked my mom if she would make a few dresses for the girls if I bought the fabric. She just checked it out the other day and the fabric is ADORABLE! They have 2 Minnie patterns, the pink one is my favorite. They also have Tinkerbell (my second favorite), Ariel, and one other. Plus, with those 40-50% off coupons, they will be very affordable. But will be too long for my youngest. So I'll just have to buy the youngest some dresses on Etsy. ;) FYI, since we're talking about clothes.

Very good to know. When someone mentioned it the other day, I thought about checking it out, but hadn't gotten around to it. I'm glad to hear you saw some cute prints. And I just get some coupons in the Sunday newspaper as well. I really need to make a trip!

Hey everyone! I'm just posting a friendly reminder. I also added this to the first post.

Here is one of my favorite pics of my girls from 2008. They got selected to open Chef Mickey's...such an awesome magical moment! :wizard:

DD(5 in this pic) had mouse ear clippies in her hair, but they are a little flattened in this pic :)

How old will your daughter be?

How super cute!!! What a fantastic sprinkling of pixie dust. Did you make the outfits or buy them? I want awesome outfits/shirts for my boys (and for me!). :lmao:

OK so my friend who's a flight attendent gave me this advice. If people won't generously move so I can be next to my kids, then I am to say "ok Honey...remember this is where the bag is at for when you puke, no screaming during take off, and I won't be here to remind you to go potty so try not to pee your pants and smell up the plane(I added that one)":rotfl: I never had to use it but my friend has and people move right away...I mean the only person that wants to be next to the child is their mother:rotfl2: Just some suggestions:thumbsup2

That is seriously AWESOME advice!!! Thank you! I was wondering what in the world we'd do if we got separated. I'd be scared to death since our youngest will only be 2. I've never flown with our little ones before so I have no idea what is going to happen.

I ordered mine......did anyone else order pins??? I think I will pin one to my backpack and maybe one on my room curtain?

I love that! :thumbsup2

Honestly, I don't understand why airlines feel it's ok for little kids to be seperated from their parents. Sure, the odd kid here and there are going to be fine.. older kids yes... but young ones? I would think the majority would not be ok!

Yes! I honestly think my little guy would have a panic attack. He's clingy anyway mixed with a bunch of strangers in very tight quarters AND it being his first time flying. :scared1: Yeah, that wouldn't go over well if I weren't next to him.

I just ordered mine. I wanna see if I can get it bigger but I don't know how to adjust the size without distorting the graphic. I want to make a larger one for a window cling for my hotel room!

Thought some might like pictures. These are just from a cell phone, so not the best quality.
