LH-- I think the hours are not always the same. Epcot, yes, most always closes at 9 unless you have EMH that night. AK is most always 5. The MK and DHS are varied somewhat, depending on what is happening.
And your plans look about like what ours do. I'm not gonna be in the parks in the heat of the day.
I have found that if you start the day in the park earlier, as it warms up the heat doesn't affect you quite as bad b/c it's a gradual build. Sort of like a frog not jumping out of the water as it gets hotter.:rotfl2:

Shelly--- okay, going from Sat- Sat, F! was shown on Sunday and Thursday, with two shows on Thursday at 8:30 and 10. The nights F was not shown the park closed at 7.
Thanks for crossing your fingers for me! Perhaps the Tikigods may be needing a call.......;)
and yes-- I know how your rethinking would go if you got the 40% off...

"Hello, reservations? I need to cancel part of my reservation and add more nights to my other one....":rolleyes1

I mean like can I look at September of 2009 and 2010 to see what the park hours and EMH "might" be for 2011? Darn Disney! Shouldn't they have these things planned years in advance for people like us?!?! :rotfl2:

Only 2 nights??? :sad2: Well I guess that just means it is a slow time of year. ::yes::

I'd really like to see Fantasmic this time. We haven't seen it in a couple of years.

Funny how you know just how my rethinking would go. :lmao:

Do you know about when the park hours will come out for September?

Probably the first week of March. We've got awhile to go. . . :hourglass

Counts us in! We're going to be at AKV - Jambo from 9/24 - 10/2. Can't wait for MNSSHP and a little bit of Food and Wine thrown in for good measure:goodvibes

I have you added! I think we picked the wrong dates because the Food and Wine Festival sounds awesome. Maybe next year....

Since my kids will all have birthdays before we go they are each getting a disney extra as part of their gift. My dd - 12 and ds - 8 are getting Pirate League and my dd - 3 is getting BBB. I am not sure if there is anything to do for my 1 (will be 2 by then) yo dd. She'll be too young for BBB. It's not like she'll know the difference anyway, just trying to think of something special for her.

That sounds like fun for your kids! :goodvibes

Mine are thinking about doing the Pirate Cruise at CBR. pirate:

Good morning! :coffee:

I have everyone added to the first post up to this point. :)

THANK YOU :cool1:

Avg temp is 92 degrees with humidity at around 95% and an afternoon thundershower every day.

So while it cools it off, then it just becomes a sauna.

Niiiice.
I Love it...it's minus 0 here today...last yeat I actually needed a hoodie at night and the restaurants were really cranking out the a/c, I will bring more than one this time!

I went on ebay and bought a lot of pins for my boys to trade when they get there. It's so much cheaper and they love trading! My youngest puts his on a board like they do in Disney, he must have over 50 :woohoo:

My kids LOVE pin trading too!

They wanted pin boards to display their pins after we got back in November. So off to the craft store we went!

The ONLY reason we're doing Garden Grill is because my oldest son is very excited to do a meal with Chip & Dale. :confused3 I'm really hoping he either forgets about it or I can change his mind before then. I think our TS credit could be used in a MUCH better place. :rotfl:

Chip and Dale do a campfire sing a long at the fort wilderness campsite. It's free if you are a resort guest. Maybe you can check that out instead.

LIKE!!!!!!!
How I wish there was a like button. We have the same thing ar home...it's so great

Pin boards are a great idea. My DD - 12 has a pin collection. She got two new ones for Christmas and a whole set of ones for trading from the Times Square store on her birthday yesterday. But they sit in a special box. A pin board would be much nicer.

DS - 8 got a couple for Christmas and they sit in his underwear draw and I am pretty sure he isn't very interested.:confused3

Will you all tell me more about pin trading? Being a newbie is tough. I feel like I don't know anything!

Also, I want to make a Disney Dream Board of sorts for my boys since we have SO long to wait until our vacation. I plan on getting a cork board that is about 2 ft x 3ft or so, covering it with Disney themed fabric then putting stuff on it and hang it in our family room. Do any of you have ideas of what all I can put/hang on the board? I have been trying to get Disney pamphlets but I only have 1 small one that only has a couple pictures. Ideas? Please!

So, Chip and Dale were never at Garden Grill... They are at Garden GROVE. I got my garden restaurants mixed up. :rotfl2:

Love! Love! Love!!! I will have to get some pins on Ebay for us to trade and use on our Disney Dream Board in the meantime.

We'll be at BLT from Sept 18-24. Thinking about adding a night at Pop on the front end because we just can't get enough Disney time! :goodvibes

A pin board is a great way to get them out of the underwear drawer! :thumbsup2

Thanks!

You'll have to get your kids lanyards and a few pins before you leave to get them started! :thumbsup2 You can get them on Ebay pretty cheap.

Then when you are at WDW they can trade pins with any CM they see with pins. They just tell the CM which pin they want from their lanyard and the CM trades them for one of theirs. It's so fun! But if your boys are shy they might not get into it. My boys don't know the meaning of the word shy, so they love it! :rotfl:
