As you know I have been stalking the Desserts Fireworks Party at MK and today I see that they have opened up online reservations....but alas...
there are no openings on the 18th! already. dag nub it! so irritating!!!

I got so excited when I saw that the reservations were opened up, but when I went to the site it was down for maintenance.

Went to book mine (tried both online and by phone) and they are not having one on the 25th - which doesn't make sense because its the extra magic hours in the evening at MK... was the only night we could really go and was to be a surprise for my DH as a late anniversary gift - guess no dessert party for us

Do they ever add more after the fact?

I've been stalking the boards from my desk all day today. I've looked at the best and worst room pic threads, as well as the Pop Century pic thread, all while listening to the POTC soundtrack. I've got the fever today! My boss told me this morning, "You realize your vacation starts ten weeks from today?" Nothing else has really struck me, but that definitely did! We arrive at Disney 10 weekd from Saturday, but who's counting?

I am! I am! 2 months from today!!!!! My ticker reflects the day DD2 arrives to party with us. She seems to think college is more important than Disney. Where did I go wrong? I tried so hard to raise her with good strong values.

My oldest DD is a little concerned about high school, since she'll be in her first semester when we arrive. I'm hoping that, since she's so early in the first quarter, that they'll still be doing review and it won't be any problem for her. She is an extremely bright student, so I'm hoping it won't be too bad. I only feel guilty for a few minutes, though, and then I'm good again. I've only got her for four more years by force, so I intend to make the most of them!

We are back on for our trip. We will be staying at pop and the dates are september 23rd through the 30th. The kids decided they didn't want to do the beach after all lol

Thank goodness for the DIS! I was on the babycenter website checking out how my DS compares to others his own age and someone posted a link to a family friends blog. Their 7 month old son has a brain tumor (long story short they just took him home bc he has days left). I shouldnt have read the blog, but I did... and now I feel compelled to read it everyday. It is beyond devastating and I am a mess everytime I read the update. I need to focus on other things now and cheer myself up.

In disney news, one of the two stores near me is going out of business.. I have to get over there this week to see if I can get any deals!

Thank goodness for the DIS! I was on the babycenter website checking out how my DS compares to others his own age and someone posted a link to a family friends blog. Their 7 month old son has a brain tumor (long story short they just took him home bc he has days left). I shouldnt have read the blog, but I did... and now I feel compelled to read it everyday. It is beyond devastating and I am a mess everytime I read the update. I need to focus on other things now and cheer myself up.

I know I cannot read things like that. I would sit and cry all day. It does make me really thankful for what I have.

We don't have a DS close. The nearest one is a 1 1/2 hours away. We did go there a couple of months back. We won't get there before our trip we just have way to much going on right now.

My heart really goes out to that family. My son has a brain lesion. It presents it's own daily challenges for us. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to be told your child only has days left. We live each moment to it's fullest because we never know what's around the bend.

I can not even begin to imagine the pain they are going through either I think its worse knowing when something is going to happen, because you spend every minute wondering if that time is now But I do agree 100% about living life to its fullest! I am only turning 24 this year, and many people I went to school with have passed away recently in freak accidents. In fact the town I live in has lost so many young people (under 18) in the past 2 years it is unbelievable. Everytime I hear about things like this it makes me count my blessings. I try to make everyday a happy memory and to never go to bed angry!
