September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

Thanks! I already have one of the ones that are on sale it shipped yesterday. My mom got me a 125.00 GC for my birthday over 2 months ago and I have been waitning for the bag to be reduced some more. So I got a tote for 112.00.

I love the Disney Dooney's!!

I have a medium sketch bag that I got last September that I  I'd really like to get a colored crossbody bag if I could find good placement or I'm really loving the 40th anniversary bags. I'm waiting to check the bags out in person when we go on our trip :)

I have three Disney Dooney's... I'm usually a Coach girl, but there is something about them that I just can't resist! I'm hoping to find a perfect 40th when we are there as well...

We just changed from POP to POR:cool1: We are so excited. MIL decided to join us so we needed the extra trundle. I just wish September would hurry up and get here :goodvibes

Yep and I just bought a new coach backpack for our trip this weekend. Well my mom bought it for me. I'm still spoiled at 36. LOL

I almost want to get married again just to have a Disney honeymoon! :rotfl:(to the same guy of course) We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Disney last year. Congratulations on your anniversary.:yay: May you share many more!

Wouldn't change a moment of it! Congratulations to you as well! :yay:

Everyone have a good weekend. I'm dong some shopping tonight with no kids. Then tommorow I think I will bring them to see Kug-fu panda. Not disney but got to do something not disney every now and again.

Booked our day for Univerasal. Now only if Sept's Dessert Party dates would come out and be bookable! so little left to do.....makes me kinda sad.

I'd love to hear everyone's opinions on taking a 2 and 4 year old to the dessert party. DH and I keep talking about it and obviously need to make a decision one way or the other before the booking opens up.

I have never done it before but we are doing it this trip. My girls will be 3 and 6 at the time. I think alot of people take there kids. I'm hoping they open dates like asap. That is the last thing I have to really book. I just started putting money away for our trip this week.

Hey everyone!!!

L-Harper--sorry I can't give you any opinions on the dessert party. We've never done it and I don't believe we are planning to do it this time either. The past couple of trips, we've tried to spend the evenings back at the resort since we have the little one.

We did do the Pirates & Pals cruise when DD was 1 and we really enjoyed it. She liked it, I guess, but she fell asleep right as the boat was pulling away from the dock (good for us because we could enjoy the cruise without her being all wiggly and we didn't have to pay for her). We are going to try to stay out a little later at night this trip.

I still have so much to purchase for our trip. We have to get our MNSSHP tickets and our annual passes but DH is starting a new job at the end of the month and I'm trying to wait until we get settled in that before I start spending. I also need to start thinking of clothes for the girls. I'm hoping that Gymboree or Crazy 8 have some cute things coming out soon.

Popping in to say Hi! Today we are 99 days away from Disney!! Hooray fro double digits!!! :yay:   :woohoo:

We're waiting for the Dessert party to open , too.

L-Harper sorry, this will be our first time going to the party so I'm not sure how it would be with little ones, but it's Disney! So I'm sure it would be great! I have heard that the outside viewing area is standing only soooooo ?? not sure on that one ??

Ok, I'm amazed at how often I hear of things at Disney that I've never heard of before. For example, the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. How in the world did I not know about this?!?! My boys are obsessed with pirates so this looks awesome! I just emailed my travel agent to get a bit more information about it since the Disney website is really vague. I'm excited to hear back. I'd love to hear your reviews on it!

I know nothing about that but have gone back and forth on this one before
http://www.portorleans.org/recreation.php It would only work for your 4yo though. Oh well, more reasons to plan for a next time ;)

We absolutely loved it! It was DH, me, DD7, and DD1.

You gather at a conference room at the Contemporary and they split you up into boats. We had two different boats. Each boat has it's own pirate leader who sing, tell jokes, do trivia, and pretty much entertain the crap out of everyone.

Before you get on the boats, though, you get snacks and drinks and get to meet Captain Hook and Mr Smee. Then, before you leave for the boats, they tell you to go ahead and load up on snacks and drinks. We had so many snacks left over afterwards that we even brought some home with us.

You cruise out on Bay Lake and watch a bit of the water parade, then you circle around Seven Seas Lagoon and get into place for Wishes. After Wishes, you head back to the dock for a suprise guest.

We had such a good time with it! One of these days we are going to do it again for sure!

This is me and my DDs at the party with the scarves that we got. Some people put them on their heads, some people around waists or arms.

Oh man...now I want to do it too! It sounds SO fun!

That does look neat~ !

Hmm, where is Amy at these days? I haven't seen her post in a while, I probably missed her saying what she was going to be doing but so weird not to see her posting. lol.

I love reading through this thread and realizing how small the world is. So many of you will be at the world the same time as my DH and I. Some even the same hotel!

I realize it's a BIG place and all, I just find it interesting. :thumbsup2
