September 2011 Check-in... Dates and Ressies?

Hubby and I just decided (tonight) to take DD to Disneyland for the first time this September! Dates TBD but should be around the 10th or so. She will be almost 3!! I am getting sooo excited!! I can't wait to see her reaction to everything! Is she too young for the BBB thing?? She is VERY girly..Any thoughts or suggestions or recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Oh..do I need to bring anything with me to show she is not 3yrs old yet?? Or are they good about trusting the parents?? Anyone know??

Congratulations on your trip. Check out the BBB thread here on the board. As far as the 3 years goes, some people have been asked ( or their child has been asked) and they usually take that answer. I guess if you wanted to you could photo copy her birth certificate. It all depends on "How old" she looks as if they will question you ... or her.

I would look into Ariel's breakfast or lunch for her.

Added you to the list.

We will be there Sept. 24th to Oct. 1st :woohoo::yay:

We are staying at Dolphin's Cove Restort. This will be our first time at Dolphin's cove so I will have to write a review.

We are going for my uncle and I's birthdays. It's my uncle's 50th so we are going to supprise him with the trip. My Aunt and I have been planning this trip since 2/10, so we been waiting a long time. They are staying at GCV in a 2br. Can't wait to check out the GCV. We are going to traid our Timeshare with them next year, we get the GCV and they want Hawaii or Las Vegas.

 Sept. just seems so far away.

Yay for September Birthdays! The GCV sounds wonderful and so does the Dolphin's Cove (I look forward to your review.)

Added your dates :)

I just booked 25 Sept - 30 Sept at the VGC. We are brand new DVC members and have some extra points to burn.

I'm excited, because we haven't been to Disneyland in 7 years. I think it should feel very fresh.

On the other hand, I've never gone to DL in September before. And the lack of hours/refurbs this far out are driving me crazy (I guess I'm used to the early planning at WDW).

Also, what should the weather be like in September? I've seen charts with average temps for the month, but I'm wondering if it's still shorts weather or more like jeans/light jackets weather.

We last went in mid/late October and found it to be quite cool. We are all wearing jeans and sweaters in our pictures from that trip. ;)

Excited to count down with you all! :thumbsup2

A September trip to Disneyland and staying at VGC is so exciting. Lack of information months out is frustrating, but passing the time with trip reports for September can give you an idea of what last year was like. September is an odd month it can be shorts weather, but when the sun goes down it does get chilly. California weather can be fickle at times so I would watch the weather reports when the time is closser.

September 1st is only 6 months away! :rotfl2:

Thank you, 6Smiles. :)

For those of you who are more experienced with Disneyland than I, do you think Fantasmic! will be showing in September? I'm worried in that we'll be there just Sunday night through Friday morning.

Then again, World of Color will be completely new for us, and I know we can never see everything . . .

But Fantasmic at Disneyland just rocks!

You should be able to catch Fantasmic on Sunday night.

We are looking forward to seeing World of Color also but haven't decided exactly which we we are ging for our fastpass.

DH and I are going to be at Disneyland 9/1-9/6, running the Disneyland half marathon. Staying at HoJo. (Leaving DD at home with the in-laws)

How wonderful for the two of you to get to run in the half and get time away. Wonderful in-laws and lucky little girl to spend time with her grandparents. I always remember the summers I spent with my grandparents and remember them fondly.

Thank you, Thank you!! Our dates are now September 8-15. We are staying at our timeshare..Worldmark Anaheim. We thought we would take DD to BBB one morning..then off to Ariels for lunch or dinner with the WOC package.
We did that the last time my DH and I went for our anniversary. We did not eat at Ariels..but LOVED all the WOC benefits! I don't know how I am going to be able to make it to September. I am SOOOOO excited!!

I updated your dates and reservation on the first page.

It sounds like your family is going to have a wonderful time. I know what you mean about excitement. We originally planned to go next year and that is what are kids know but, we have moved our trip to this year and I feel like I'm going to burst. In trying to ensure a magical trip last year I think we never stopped to soak in the magic of Disneyland, so this trip... main goal to seek out those details, stop and smell the roses! We avoided WOC because we were there the opening week, so I hope to catch it this time. I had thought about starting a PTR but instead have following food reviews and making notecards on the food and Places we want to eat. Last trip was extremely budget...This trip not so much :cool1:

We are arriving Sept. 11-15 staying at the GCV with son and wife and a one year old granddaughter.

The dates for Halloween Time has been posted on Disneyland.com website. According to the website Halloween Time at DLR will be from Friday, September 16 to Monday, October 31. Mickey's Halloween party dates have not been posted yet.

Looks like some September travels can see DL with a Halloween flare!

OK, my dates are finalized and the HOJO is booked: September 2-4 :woohoo:

I'll at the HOJO for September 3-5. I'm in between jobs right now, so as much as I'd like to stay longer, it'll depend on what my new employer will allow. I just really want the coast to coast medal.

Checking in with tentative dates of 9/23-26. I will be goimg with some other single friends, and we would all be staying offsite in a condo a few miles away. I generally travel solo to DLR, so this should be a different trip from what I'm used to.

Looks like we'll overlap with the start of Halloween, the same as last year. My daughter has the 16th off from school again, so we'll likely be going that prior week. It was fascinating this past year coming in each day and seeing more and more Halloween decorations until WHAM! Halloween exploded on DL on Friday! Of course DL also was a lot busier that day, but luckily it wasn't too bad the prior days. Not as calm as our trip in 2008 though--that was a dream trip!
