Good for you, 6smiles. Join the club. I looked at other Check In threads to see how to set up the October Check In thread. So far a great start! I like the "Meets" and had plan on adding that to the October Check In.

Awesome September is my favorite check in month -- my birthday!! We don't have official dates yet but we will be there for the 1/2 Marathon weekend (5K for me, I'm not ready for 13'ish miles this year) so around 9/2-9/5 I'm guessing. Hopefully longer to celebrate my birthday (the 10th) but we'll see what I end up swinging.

If you need any help, just let me know. I am a Check-In addict!! Food for thought: I have also started a check-in for those of us participating in any of the 1/2 Events. Would you be able to link to it?

I think we'll be going back to DL 9/24-9/28. Just starting to plan and it's a big family group trip being spearheaded by my aunt. This is kind of her early 60th birthday celebration.

What are the rooms and rates at the PVI like? My aunt booked ressies at the Anaheim Plaza for a 2 bedroom suite for $109. I have 3 kids and the suite is nice to have my mom and my brother right there to help with the kids.

We're looking likely for September! Hooray, I'm SO excited! Our tenth wedding anniversary is in June and I've (finally!) convinced my husband that Disneyland is the BEST way to celebrate...except of course I don't want to visit in the height of summer...so we'll probably go in September again.

I'm not sure on dates yet--maybe 9/12-9/17??

I have never stayed at the PVI before but have reserved a room based on the current reviews here. I also looked at the Plaza, but would need to reserve two rooms for my group.

to the boards. I think the type of breakfast you were looking for would help narrow down the hotels for you. Some have cereal, fruit and pastries, while others have eggs and waffles!

Yes we stayed at PVI in '08 for our son's first trip. We really liked how close it was and the room was nice. This time we are staying in the one bedroom to have a little more space.
