I just booked . DH and I are staying at the Poly from September 25 to October 1.

Used a 40% off pin and the price was obscenely low.

Now I'm off to do my happy dance and make the dogs think I've gone nuts.

Oooohhhh. I hadn't thought of that. I could do that!

We didn't spring for lagoon or MK view. DH has this romantic idea of watching the fireworks from a beach chair, tangled up in each other, and then going back to a quiet room to make our own fireworks.

We also haven't picked a longhouse to request (I know they may not honor it, but it's kind of fun looking at the different ones!) but probably will in a couple of weeks. This is only our second time at Disney and our first time at the Poly!

Yeah why not, some people even leave a pen and paper stuck to the door so other Disers can sorta sign and say hi.

Well the Poly is one of the most romantic resorts, you can't help but feel the magic

Have you checked out Tikiman's website? Is really detailed and informative on all the different LH's. I ended up requesting Aotearoa third floor, but have now made two requests, first one being Fiji third floor marina side and Aotearoa as a second.

Lots of September goers, let us know if any of your do arrange a Dis meet and let us know how it goes

Booked today at The Wilderness Lodge with Standard view, same dates as described earlier (Sept 26th - 29th) with dining (I was talked into the dining by the reservations person) Oh well, not such a bad thing. Hopeful for any type of pin code, have a while so things may pan out.

It's a short trip we're taking, but we then plan on driving to Daytona for two days of R&R on the beach before driving home.

May start a Pre trip report, not sure yet. Have a lot figured out just waiting for 180 days.

I know some people are a bit skeptical when it comes to the dining plan, but trust me, it is so worth it. Not having to worry about have the extra cash to pay for dinner (only tips) is a good thing and also I figure you save quite a bit of money too as you don't have to worry about what you order and how much.

R&R on the beach sounds good, perfect way to end your vaca

Hi All,

We are going to be there September 25Th to October 2ND.
It will be me, DH, DD and DS and his family(grands first time!)

We are also meeting the Brits, Margy and Co. for our RD meet at the world!
We met on these boards a few years ago and love it when we can get together!

I do most of the planning and the grands don't know they are going! They are DGS 16 and DGD will be 13, hope to keep it quiet until they get to the airport lol, so far every one has kept quiet! Knock on wood and some pixie dust!

I will try to keep you posted on plans and maybe get a few from you all

Well since my ticker is under the 8 month mark . We will be there 9/25 to 10/3. We booked bounce back last year for the free dining. We are currently booked at CBR but may try to change that to POFQ. I can't wait to make dining reservations and book my airfare. Still waiting on my return flight for airtran to come up.

We would love to stay at the poly this trip but my brother and his fiance want to stay moderate. Which is fine by me.
