September 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

I am still looking for Rose and Crown on 9/30 for dinner to tie into Illuminations, party of 2. Or...I could do almost any night 9/28 - 10/1, same time and same number of people. Thanks!

Every time I do a search this morning on the disney dining site, Chef Mickeys keeps popping up the entire week of 9/21-9/27. Am I the only one that thinks this is a bit odd???? Why all of a sudden are there so many ADR's available? Do you think it could be a glitch?

I do think it's odd. I booked for 5:05 PM and then did another search and there was still a 5:05 PM for next week.

Hi everyone,

So I got lucky and got a Chef Mickey's dinner ressie for 9/27 at 8:50pm. Unfortunately for me, I was actually trying for breakfast. I didn't want to cancel, because I thought someone on the board may want it. Let me know if you want it, and we can set up a time to cancel it. Otherwise I will just let it go tomorrow.

I do think it's odd. I booked for 5:05 PM and then did another search and there was still a 5:05 PM for next week.

When I called Disney Dining earlier today regarding a different reservation I mentioned that I booked Chef Mickey online this morning and that there were several availabilities for both breakfast and dinner at the end of Sept. and beginning of Oct. The CM was very surprised and said that was odd and maybe a glitch in the system. She said they had a big problem once before where the system was making reservations for a restaurant in one of the parks for times after the park was to be closed and they had to keep the park open later.

I know I booked a 9:20pm reservation for 7 people on Oct. 2nd and all morning and even now there are still reservations available for that same time and date for 7 people. I have also been seeing Chef Mickey breakfast availability come up every time I search for 1900 Park Fare breakfast. That has been happening since this morning as well. With everyone who has been booking Chef Mickey all morning how are there still so many left. I can't imagine that many people have cancelled all of a sudden today. I'm really concerned that this is an error and we'll all be getting calls from Disney.

Oh gosh I hope not! I canceled our other reservation for that night so I wouldnt be double booked. My fingers are crossed.

I searched this morning for Sept 14-21 and then seen which would fit our schedule better. They all are still showing as of now so I almost bet these will not be honored and we will get a call like they did with the other over bookings earlier.

OR....maybe there was a glitch in the system BEFORE that wasnt allowing certain slots to be booked but they fixed it and we got lucky enough to find it! Im going with that theory.

Hmm. I may be able to back this up. Last night, A wonderful Diser was going to give me her Le Cellier Ressie, so we did the timed cancel/book, however when she cancelled, I still couldn't Book! It was like the reservation just disappeared (and we did this at 12am EST so that there would be less competition.

Now I know that if another dis-er is willing to give one up for me that I should just go ahead and keep it under their name! Yikes!

I've been trying since 90 days to book Le Cellier for my party of 3 (2 adults, 1 nine year old child) with no luck. I just called and was informed that Le Cellier "is significantly over booked for the next three months; we just had a meeting about it yesterday." Whether or not that's true, who knows just passing on the information received. Bummer, was looking forward to the coffee rubbed strip for our b'days (husband and I have the same birthday - odd I know).

If anyone has a reservation for 9/15 (the only day we'll be in Epcot) for dinner (5pm or so preferred but we're flexible in that regard) that they are not using we'd love to dine at our first choice. We have a Plan B booked for that night but I wanted to be sure I explored all possible avenues before giving up.

This happened to me also!

Fortunately, another kind person had offered their Le Cellier to me, so I've got the ressy that is in their name

Still looking for a BOMA on Sept 28th for 2 between 7-8pm (have a 5:55 for 2 at Boma to trade if needed)

And has anyone managed to get Sci Fi?

Every time I see one available it is for a party of 5!!
(I only need for a party of 2) I didn't take them as I don't want to deprive a family of their ressy.

This happened to me to with Le Cellier. I read on here where someone said a CM told them that Le Cellier was extremely overbooked for the next few months and they were concerned it would be a problem. I wonder if b/c of that, any Le Cellier cancellations are not going to pop back up as availability. Just as theory..
