Just wondering (not that anyone on here would do it, but....) What is to stop someone from giving the same reservation to multiple people? I don't think someone on here would do that, but what if a ressie I was given was also given to someone else, and we both show up w/ the name & #? Does anyone know for sure if you can change a name on a ressie? Thanks! (And again, not saying anyone here would do that!)!

The reservation has to be cancelled and re-booked under the new person's name is what I understand.

In the past, you could call and change the name on a reservation. However, it is against Disney policy and is now enforced.

You're right, someone could give the same resv # to multiple people. It is just a chance you have to take if you choose the option of using someone else's name and resv #.

If you want to be sure to avoid this issue, you can always arrange to have the original owner of the resv cancel it & you immediately pick it up. This works most of the time, especially if you wait until after Disney Dining's hours.

If you can't find someone to trade WCC for you, there is availability at Trail's End, if that's something your family would consider.

It's at Ft. Wilderness, which has a rustic feel like WL, but the atmosphere is a bit different. WCC is more interactive with the CM's, where Trail's End is just a buffet. But then you can see the horses and the petting zoo over at Ft. Wilderness. And they also do a Chip & Dale Campfire w/s'mores & a movie. Here's a link to some more info:

So I finally snagged a 1900 Park Fare dinner for 9/23, so now I had to change things around. Here is what I have up for grabs now - please let me know ASAP if anyone wants these, because I'm now double booked and I don't want to be If I don't hear within 3 hours, I'm cancelling them. Sorry! I don't want to risk my ADR's getting cancelled.
