September 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

Just cancelled O'hana reservation at 8:20 p.m. on 9/22 for 5 people. Hope someone can grab it!!

Well because the people have been pretty clear in their postings that they didn't intend to keep them all. If your looking for trades on your 3 adrs at the same place it seems to me you don't intend to use them all. I think its pretty funny I'm getting flamed here and yet I'm only trying to point out that some people are abusing the new system and I only have adrs I intend to use!

No flaming here either! I called at 89 days out and have been unable to get my top choices. Look at my signature and see how many times I have visited WDW (and that's not even all of them) and I have never had any problem getting my top choices this far out. I have also visited during free dining and didn't have any problems and I had only booked our trip that year about 60 days out. I totally think it has something to do with the on line reservations and people booking the same restaurants multiple times and perhaps deciding while they are there which restaurants they want to eat at, therefore keeping their plans more flexible. Just a thought, but it does seem odd to me that I can't even get Yak & Yeti when I want - yet a month ago I didn't have any problem changing that reservation less than a week before I left home. The CM told me that it wasn't that popular of a restaurant and it comes up often as an alternative!

Are you looking to trade just for a later time at Le Cellier or a different Epcot restaurant? I have an 8:50 at Coral Reef that night that I would trade.

I just picked up your 6:20 reservation at Liberty Tree on the 25th. I too am attending the party that evening and I have been trying to get Ohana or Crystal Palace, but no luck. I did try for Liberty Tree yesterday and they didn't have anything. Thanks for the heads up on the cancellation!

I am still looking for a dinner reservation at the Studios on 10/1. Our first choice is 50's Prime Time, but we will take ANY table service restaurant at the Studios (including a Fantasmic Dinner Pkg). We are a party of 4 and would prefer a reservation between 4:30-6:30 p.m.

I am also interested in breakfast or dinner at Chef Mickey's for one of the following:

9/29-- dinner
10/1-- breakfast
10/2-- breakfast (I have 1900 Park Fare at 8:40 a.m. to trade) or dinner

And no, I wasn't intending double booking... I actually wanted these until better seatings came up and I do need to cancel them, I am going to wait until July 5 at 6PM PST to do so, just in case a fellow DISer wants them first... I would do it sooner but it IS a holiday weekend afterall.

You can't cancel CRT online and my dumb phone couldn't make calls for a couple of days. Now I am offering it up to DISers... those without ridiculous flame torches out would be prefered I cancelled the Yak & Yeti, Crystal Palace and 'Ohana ADR as soon as I knew I could get something different fwiw.

Please, let me know before the time above if you want these, since that is when I am going to call to cancel if no one else wants to take them

It was 9/17 @ 10:25am, I searched for 2 adults!

Hi there! Did you try calling Trex directly for a ressie? We originally booked our Trex for 9/15 over the phone with Disney but could only get one for 3:30 pm. I have been trying online ever since for something later but nothing.

Well, after reading that someone suggested calling them direct, we finally did tonight. The whole night of 9/15 was open and we had our choice of times so took 6:30 pm.

I have to agree with most-online booking is great, but people are totally taking advantage and overbooking which makes everyone else try that much harder to plan their trips. I've had free dining 3 other times and never had this many issues getting something (even during Thanksgiving last year!) I appreciate those that have posted here on the ressies they aren't going to use as that appears to be the only way I can get something-ha! Thanks again!

I just made a reservation by calling them directly!!
They don't give you a confirmation number, just use your last name. But it worked!!!
