September 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

Both were cancelled about 20 minutes ago.

Anyone know approx. how long a reservation that was canceled to show up in they system? I have been trying for an hour and it hasn't come up yet. I have modified and searched every minute or so. Thanks!

They usually show up right away.

I don't know, I've heard it takes a little while before it shows. I'd try calling in too. Best of luck.

There was an answer on the "moms" panel today that cancelled ressies don't show-up as openings until 8 AM the next day.

I canceled a ressie last week over the phone and as soon as I hung up I change my mind, got on line and it was there. I wonder if canceling over the phone or online makes a difference.

Don't know-just reporting what the MOM did-they've been wrong before. Can you be sure that what showed-up was yours? You might be right about on-line vs phone, but I don't think so. I think the CMs enter into the same database as we do.

I'm 99.9% sure that it was the same ressie. It was for Ohana's for 8 and it's been impossible to find for months and was for the same time. It's possible it wasn't mine, but I really doubt it given how hard the ressie was to come by beforehand. Who knows though! Computers do strange things sometimes.

I, also, cancelled one the other day and changed my mind right away when I realized that my other ressie was breakfast not lunch (I wanted lunch) and my cancelled ressie showed up immediately. It was definitely my original ressie as there were none others available. Glad I was able to get it back.


ETA: I cancelled and rebooked online.

I'm not sure if its been posted on here or not but we just found out they've been accidentally overbooking restaurants. A CM just called us and told us our adr at Teppen Edo was cancelled because they are extremely overbooked. We were really disappointed until we were able to get Ohana in its place! I've tried since 90 days to get that and was never able and now we have a 4:30 adr!

I traded my Le Cellier to a DISer very late one night. I canceled it online and they were able to find it right away.

A CM just called us and told us our adr at Teppen Edo was cancelled because they are extremely overbooked. We were really disappointed until we were able to get Ohana in its place! Just found out this is true, but it is Teppen Edo only. They called to cancel and I took it as an opportunity to switch our Garden Grill, which they couldn't do, so I asked for an earlier Chef Mickey's on the one I've been trying desperately to trade and they did it!! I'm all happy about this right now.
