September 2008 - Who's going?

I just got back from a week in London, which was great, but I have to say I'm more excited about the two weeks I'll be at Disney in September than I was about the London trip. Of course, part of that could be that the trip will be twice as long (two weeks vs. one week) and I won't have to deal with the airport (flights were great, but the airport experience leaves a lot to be desired), but I think the big thing is that it just feels like going home when I go to Disney.

I'll be there 10th through the 24th at VWL.

Yes, I used to post a lot there, but the DIS is a much friendlier bunch so I post here most of the time now. Much more fun!

You never know who you'll run in to on your travels - so maybe our paths will cross.

This will be my DH and 2DS (5 &3) first trip, and I am so excited! We're staying at CBR (see, I've got some of the lingo down, still trying to figure out some of the other abbreviations though) and took full advantage of the free dining!
So here's my question: Autograph books. Is there an economical way to bring a book with us, or should I just buck up and buy one at the parks (I am assuming that Disney hasn't passed up this opportunity to make $$.)?

In my opinion, the autograph book is worth it just because it is Disney. We took friends with us and my wife and I bought their 2 girls each one.

We will be there the same time at POR. We went last year for the free dining and had a blast!

Congrats on your first trip! We arrive right as you leave for my DH's first trip. He's never been with us before and DD is ecstatic.

You could buy a small notebook or journal to use. Disney does sell them and the price isn't too bad for the smaller one ($6-$7 and includes plenty of pages for the whole trip).

We're actually looking at our pressed penny collection and figuring out which ones are missing and where we need to go to get them! My wife is going spastic - she's counting down the days and hours!!!! This will be great - we're staying at Pop again like last year. We really enjoy Pop!
