September 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

Just cancelled a CRT on Sept. 20 at 4:05pm for 4 people.

Had to cancel in order to get a later time that same day. So dinner will be at a normal time! I think we have almost everything I had hoped for!

Hope someone here can use it.

Thanks - I'm still going to keep calling for a better time @ LC but if I can't score a better time, I can make it work. It was funny the rep made sure to tell me I snagged a cancellation - I told her - I knew that . She laughed. She said I must be one of the ones calling every day. I thought that was pretty funny. Thanks for the heads up! I just called and was able to get a reservation for 11 people! They had a table for 8 at 8:20... call now if you need it!

I think the person that has the ADR calls in and changes it to the other person's name and home telephone number.

Maybe someone can advise us if this is correct?

I wasn't sure of our plans yet that night, but the later time might work out better for us.

You need the person's information: First Last name, # in party, how many of whom are children and their ages, telephone, hotel and arrival date and if on dining plan. The person with the existing reservation has to be the one to call and change it. Hope this helps.

Actually, i am sure there are few that are not comfortable giving out all that information above so this is what i suggest..

You can actually add on your last name to the existing name. (This is what i did for another party).

OR

Go check in using that orginal party last name with the confirmation #

You might be able to find a ressie here. Or just keep calling. That seems to be the best way to get the ADR you want. Many of us here call several times a day (me - too many times to count) . I am speculating there will be a bunch released over the next few days and weeks. We are at the threshold where people have to pay for their vacations or forfeit their deposits for the timeframe you are looking for. Those cancellations will free up those ADRs.
