Still looking...............It doesn't seem like there are that many of you on here going on my dates Let's hope that's a good indication of crowds.

This time of year the resturants are mobed w/ the free dining but otherwise the lines are minimal, someone posted that during free dining last year the longest they saw a wait time for Sorin' was 20 mins! Our trip last May it was about 20 mins with FastPasses.

I'm sad to say we cancelled our whole trip last night at the 45 day mark. I have a lot of ADR's to cancel, but thought I'd post here first. PM me if you want something. I can wait a day or two, but would like to cancel these asap while I'm thinking about it. I'm willing to 3-way call Disney Dining with you to transfer the ADR to your name. Here goes:

9/13 Chef Mickeys for 5 at 2:20 TAKEN
9/13 Crystal Palace for 5 at 5:20 (perfect for Spectro!) TAKEN
9/14 Ohana's 4:25 for 5 TAKEN
9/15 Princess Storybook Akershus 11:20 for 5 TAKEN
9/15 1900 Park Fare for 5 at 4:45 TAKEN
9/16 Puck's at 5 pm for 5
9/17 11:20 Hollywood & Vine PHD for 5 TAKEN
9/18 1900 Park Fare at 5:05 for 5 TAKEN

I'm pretty sure if you have 4, 5, or 6 in your party you can make these ADR's work for you by taking them as a party of 5 and showing up with 1 less or 1 more.

What happens if you show up with an ADR but the reservation number is under another persons name? (meaning someone here gave you the ADR but it didn't get switched to your name) I am just concerned that I will get there and be denied the ADR because it's not in my name. I really appreciate the DISer who gave it to me but she got the number from someone else and they havent been on here in a while, I PMed them and waiting a reply.

I believe the only ADR that this would not work with is CRT, because when I got my ADR from another, they told me I would need I.D.

I had to do some fancy footwork, and after alot of sweating was able to do it!

9/20 Whispering Canyon Cafe for 11 people at 11:10 am (3 tables)
9/22 Brown Derby for 11 people at 8:40 pm...not the Fantasmic pkg, but it Fantasmic is at 8:00 so you should be able to do both (I think this is 1 table)

Also looking to trade Tusker House at 10:30 am on 9/24 for something earlier on the same morning. This is also for a party of 11. I can throw in one of the above options if you can help!!! Half of our group will be flying out that afternoon and I would love for them to be able to join us at this breakfast.

What I did when I got a ressie from another Diser as well as gave one of mine away is called the Disney Dining line and said that I was unable to make my ressie but the others in my party were still going so I had to change the name on the ADR because it was in my name. I also said the party number was going to stay the same as they were bringing another person. As long as you have the confirmation number and are not with a magical gathering you should be fine in doing this.

Both time I did it the CM said it would be no problem. Then you just call back and speak to another CM to change the phone number.

Just as a side note. I called to transfer a ressie to someone else last month and had no problems. When I tried to do it the other day the CM said they "absolutely do NOT do transfers" (and I had said it was for friends who would be there).
I just thanked her and called back and the next CM did it no problem. So just as a caution.. you may get someone who won't do it the first time you call.

They absolutely do not ask for I.D when you check in for a ressie, just go using the other personsl name and enjoy. This is the 3rd year that we have switched around ressie's and never has it been a problem as long as you have the ressie # with you, they can care less who you are.

I have that same issue and I am afraid once we get there we won't get in, or will have problems.
