I'm not ready either and my "to do" list keeps getting longer, even though I keep scratching things off of it!
All will be well. As long as I have our documents, some clothes, my camera, and some money the rest will all fall into place. Lori and I made it our mission to pack light! We'll see how that goes. Last year I took 2 large suitcases. This year I am going to try to get it into one! Don't think it's going to happen, but one can dream. We also plan on doing laundry, so I guess I don't have to pack as much. I am making a run up to Tucson this week to go to the Disney Store and to a craft store.
Anyway, deep breaths everyone! Things will be fine. It's not like we are going to the middle of nowhere! Walgreens and WalMart should be VERY close by in case anyone forgets anything! I am such a good cheerleader... not so good at taking my own advice.

Kids just got back from their 1st day of school. All went smoothly. Just typed up and printed the letters informing the teachers that they'll be absent from the 11th through the 19th. AAH- we are getting sooo close!

After you all get done having all that fun and are all rested up you could come over my way and shovel the mulch onto the many gardens, clean my house, mow the yard, and do some of the other chores that have to be done before I leave.

Actually, I live in between Cincinnati, Louisville and Indianpolis and I am pretty sure there is plenty to do around here that is fun too. I, personally, have no time to find out but I happen to have FOUR spare bedrooms.

They dry-ice it over night. Then you bake it.

We did it when we lived in Florida. Turned out super good!

I used to send subs from a sub shop here in Worcester to a co-worker of mine in Denver everytime I flew home to visit my family, when I lived in Denver.....dry ice works wonders! My parents used to send lobsters out to me too, because it cost a small fortune for seafood in Denver!

That sounds familiar, after my eldests first week, I emailed all his teachers his time off (11-20th) I've only heard back from one so we'll see what they've said to him.

I have told all the elementary teachers but will put it in writing for parent night tonight.
