Thats what I'm saying!!!! :woohoo:

By the end of the week Ill be in the 30's!!! :yay:

43 days - and counting until Sept 12th!!! :cheer2:

40 Days until my Check in at Pop,
28 Days until my 1 night suprise birthday adventure (I do all the planning so I had to know early).

One year I craved Mickey Bars and had one most every single day and the next year I bought one, took one bite and did not want another. I am fickle, I are. ;)

One more doctor's appointment down, a dozen or so to go. More medications and a warning to stay out of the sun. What a lovely thing to say when we are headed for Florida. Luckily one of my dh's oddities will be useful as he wears long sleeve shirts and often an undershirt as well when it is boiling hot. Wonder if he will wear my lime green sunshade as he is taller than I am and likely to attract more attention? :rotfl2:

God is a man. I am certain. He puts married couples together , two by two but one likes it hot and one likes it cold, one snores and the other cannot sleep. He has a sense of humor of this I am certain.

I'm starting to get worried...

Okay- we've hyped up OUR favorite restaurants in the parks and yet, here I am reading the 'worse dining experiences' thread and seeing certain restaurants we're GOING to!!! Argh!

The main ones? 9 Dragons- I loved it on our honeymoon and so did Hubby. People are saying it's not even American Chinese food- but after eating 'chinese' food in our town (Vegas)- I'd say 9 Dragons is soooo much better then what we can get locally!

Then '50s PrimeTime'- we had a great waiter when we went and I know the kids really want to experience the atmosphere of this place! What if we get a stick in the mud for a waiter???

Oh- and Whispering Canyon! We have NOT been there yet, but the plates look soooo good- and I've heard it can be pretty crappy :S

Funny- what silly things I worry about! I can only recall ONE meal we HATED at WDW and it was the Japanese CS meal- it was GROSS. Fat on the meat in stirfry? Disgusting!

Go and experience it for yourself. There are places that I didn't like at all that others raved about. Same with places people bash and we LOVE them !

Don't get too worried about it !

I love 9 Dragons, I always get the Honey Sesame Chicken, which I can't get locally. I went in March and June didn't need the ADR we had made, over 100 days in advance.

I ate there in March and will be eating there again in December. The food was good in March, but eating at an off peak time our waitress wasn't great.

I've been reading some and saw some of my ADRs on it. I don't read it anymore.

Last time I was there most of the waiters were into the experience. And if not, usually one of the waitstaff in the section is. I think the waitress for the table next to us gave my husband more of hard time than our own.

The foods only ok (IMO) but the milkshakes are wonderful. With all you can drink milkshakes, who cares about the food. Remember to ask for ketchup.

My theory is every trip you get one less than great meal. I have no idea why this seems to happen every vacation. I guess it's the law of averages. When you're eating 16 meals out, one of them is bound to be eh. Good thing is on the dining plan, if you don't like your meal, the next one isn't that far away. :lmao:

Morning all!

Thanks for your insights into the restaurants! Like I aid- I've only been once to the park so I just have that experience to go off of and the kids- they've been reading the books and know what to expect, so they're going to expect certain experiences!

QOTD ?!

What are you most looking forward too once you have arrived in Orlando ?

The first thing I am looking forward to is the tram ride at the airport! It is the first Disney ride, right? :yay:

After that, on to POP and let the holiday begin!

Screw the reviews... Im serious. Theres places everyone 'hates' and I love, and vice-versa.

Go where it interests you - where the menu appeals to you, where it looks like an enjoyable meal, and it will be! :goodvibes

Just BEING there.... that fast paced 'power' walk you do when you un-board the plane, past all the people! :rotfl:

I'm just looking forward to the immediate reactions to the kids- we will pretty much be hitting the sack at Pop once we get in, so we won't be going to the parks- but this will be the kids' first airplane ride for two of them and the first 'real' airplane ride(ie not a pondjumper) for the other one.

Then, after we get some sleep- I'm just looking forward to the excitement that first morning when everyone wakes up and realizes, "WOW- we are REALLY here!" The kids have been hearing about this place nonstop for the past three years and they've been asking questions and reading the books hardcore since we started actually planning this trip.

I cannot wait. 42 days for me.

Well I am looking forward to Seeing Mikcey of course but I am really looking forward to meeting all my new friends:goodvibes.

Update on Jilly (our greyhound) her surgery went well and she is in recovery right now she didn't need to have those two spots removed off of her legs so only one spot on the middle of her back and her teeth cleaned. We also did an ex-ray of her nose area due to the fact that she snorts like a bull, but Oh and her toe nails clipped. Everything so far turned out great, we do have to wait on results for the spot they removed but the Vet said he didn't think it was anything to worry about.
