Hi everyone! i've been MIA for a few weeks as we are trying to get accustomed to our crazy gymnastics schedule for the summer which has us out of town 4 days each week! Anyway, I see we have an updated FE list, thank you Caitcarr! Are we all 1 group participating together? i know there was previously talk of breaking off into separate groups. I'm happy to have a larger group, i just want to make sure i plan accordingly. I wanted to mention, just so some people don't get confused when delivering door-to-door, I do believe there is another FE group organized via Facebook, so there will be many more hangers out there than what we have in our group. I'm just mentioning this so everyone is careful to deliver to the room numbers that we have here on our list, and not accidentally to the other FB group. Also, on one of our cruises we got a room upgrade upon arrival & of course i was worried that our FE gifts wouldn't find their way to us at our new room. So i stuck a post-it note on the old room door & also wrote a message on some people's dry-erase boards on their doors. Just a thought for anyone who finds themselves with a room change!

Glad your back!! How is gymnastics going?? My daughter has been working so hard. This week her entire team will be going up to Santa Barbara for a 4 day gymnastics camp and beach trip. I'm glad because all of the girls have been so focused and busy that they need this time away. I can't believe our trip is getting so close. I can't wait until we are on the ship and relaxing.

Gymnastics is going well, but boy we will all be ready for our 1 month vacation when this summer is over! I can't believe how fast this trip is coming up! i just made some of our fast pass selections for our pre-cruise disney stay. i still have a few more days before i can make them for our post-cruise stay. Does anyone know anything about the "Halloween on the High Seas"?? i really need to look into that to see if i need to bring costumes or anything special. My daughter will have a couple princess dresses packed regardless, but i don't have anything planned for my son. and we gave up on the whole pirate attire many cruises ago. is there trick-or-treating?? i know our cruise isnt that close to halloween but i did see that the HoHS will be going on at that time.

1man&3ladies - there is also a Roll Call thread for our cruise on the cruise critic message boards, but that is the only other one I've found. Several GA families and some Aussie ones will be on board from what I gather. Should be a blast!

We are staying at Polynesian Villas after. in a studio, not the bungalows. if you happen to talk to us on the cruise in front of my kids, don't mention that! they have no idea that we are even going back to Disney after, let alone staying at Poly! we keep every detail a surprise until the actual moment!

Let's make the FE 'last call' be July 19th to give everyone 2 months to plan, so please post by Sunday if you want to join the group!

This our first time doing the western carribian. Is there any excursions that are a must on this cruise? And my parents are going with us this time and they are on the "high strung"side. They are worried about how safe Jamaica and Mexico are? Any words of advice??

My husband and I have done Jamaica once on our own several years ago and were approached by several folks who wanted to sell us drugs, etc. so now that we have kids we always do an excursion in Jamaica. If you are with an organized group you will probably feel much safer...I know I do. We've also gone to Cozumel many times. We usually venture off to shop and eat some great mexican food. Panchos Backyard is a great place to eat. I've also heard wonderful things about Mr. Sanchos beach club. I've always felt very safe here, but we've gotten too far off the beaten path. Of course, you could book an excursion here too so you are with an organized group.

Check our your options, relax and enjoy a great cruise!

We have been to Cozumel before and we actually missed the Grand Cayman port due to bad weather. I agree that you should be fine if you stay with an excursion group. We are doing the Jamaican Bobsleds, the Secret River &Playa Del Carmen in Cozumel and the Dolphin Swim and Turtle Farm in Grand Caymen.. Whatever you decide to do I think you will be fine.
