September 19, 2010 - anyone?

I actually went to the same website this morning, and when I looked the the plans, none of them covered cancellations or trip interruptions. Maybe I wasn't looking at the right thing?

I just did a quick search, tried to look up my specific plan but not sure how to do that on there website. But here is the link for the time periods of the cruise. I have travelex select and it covered trip interruption and cancellation and I double checked it with this new quote and it included both of those as well. When looking at the amounts remember it is per person not total. Hope this helps!!

We just booked at AKL for the day after the trip, does anyone know if I need to update my travel docs on Disney Website? Initially we were just heading home after the cruise, but have decided to add an extra day and attend MNSSHP.

Hello,
Please add us to the list for fish extenders.

Did anyone else here not purchase insurance for this cruise? This is the first time that I've ever NOT gotten it, and now I'm scared to death. I kept meaning to call and add it, but just never did! I don't know what I was thinking!!!

We cruised without insurance the first time that we did a 4 nighter and (of course) nothing happened and we never ended up utilizing the insurance. We have bought it for each subsequent cruise, but it always ends up not being used (of course) and I kick myself for adding it every time. You'll be fine!! :grouphug:

Can you please break this down by deck number, room number, then by how many kids and how many girls and how many boys and their ages.. And how many adults... :lmao:

Just kidding... Not like you haven't done enough~!.... Thank you for organizing the FE and keeping it updated!:cheer2:

:rotfl: Ha ha ha - too funny! Actually before I got to your "just kidding" part, I was thinking "should I break it down in Excel or...."

Holy moley, it's September 1st!!! We leave for WDW next Friday (10th) and will be there from the 11-19. After the cruise we will be going back there for two more days. I'm so excited!! It's been a year since our last WDW and DCL vacation. I'm almost done with our MNSSHP costumes. It won't be long now!!

I am just so excited I don't know what to do with myself - never cruised - and always wanted to do a Disney Cruise - we are going to Epcot and Universal for Harry Potter before the cruise. :cloud9: Been to Disneyland a few times but never WDW! So Excited!!!! Hope everyone has a great day! :goodvibes

I've been putting together the FE list and had a question. Does anyone have a room together that they are sharing but they are not one family? I didn't want to give a gift and then the people in the room would have to decide who gets to take it home. Just easier to make one for everyone. :thumbsup2

Crystal thank you so much for putting all of this together and keeping all of the names and rooms organized! Wonderful job! We are so looking forward to leaving. We found out today that DD's preschool class picture is going to be taken while we are gone. I told her I was sorry she wouldn't be able to be in the class picture. She said that's ok I'll be on a cruise with Mickey! Pretty much sums it up.

:banana::banana: ok i just read a tr from heatherlynn444 @http://www.disboards.com/member.php?u=103873

I know it is late but just to clairify things in our cabin there is me, and then Michelle and Chris are together.

Thank you Chrystal for keeping track of all of this for us.

See you all in 17 days. Magie

Hurricanes Hurricanes go away... please come back another day...

This is me doing my lucky weather dance in Florida :cool1:

I hope this helps us!!! My friend just canceled her cruise plans :worship: She was supposed to be on our cruise but ditched us because of weather fears. A little wet weather is not going to keep my family from having fun with Mickey!!!

Less than 3 weeks away!!!!!!

I thought that nothing could take my mind off our cruise, but it turns out that ds starting Kindergarten, a sick husband, and a huge work project that is now going live the week before the cruise managed to distract me!!

Still super excited, but also worried about how I'm going to get it all done! Do you think it's too early to start packing?...

I bought an app that is a hurricane storm tracker just to torture myself - but I'm sure it will be fine. I agree with the theory that wa can steer around the storms ;)

It also looks like most of us will be seeing each other again at MNSSHP! We are also at AKL after the cruise - anyone have an opinion on the restaurants at AKL? I've ad a lot on the dining threads about how good they are but for some reason the menus just aren't appealing to me yet. Maybe the live and in person will temp me more

That's all for now, good luck to all the FE workers - I'm right there with you.

Only 17 more days!!!!

We are staying at AKL after the cruise also and attending MNSSHP. I was nervous the first time I ate at Boma's for breakfast, nothing sounded like something I would like, but now it is one of my must do's. The juice is incredible and the food is amazing.

I have already started pulling out clothes for the cruise and the suitcases. I am always so afraid I will forget something.

VeryGfy - How's DD doing with the cast on her arm? Will she be able to get it wet?

Hi Ems,
We are HUGE fans of the AKL restaurants! We haven't been to Sanaa yet, but Boma is a spectacular favorite of ours, especially for dinner, and we just did Jiko for the first time this past May, and it's now on our top 5 list of favorite restaurants at WDW. There are plenty of new and exotic options to try if you're the adventurous type, but also plenty of old favorites and standbys for people who like the tried and true. I recommend either of them wholeheartedly. Boma is especially good for young kids who might be picky. They have the comfort foods - mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, Mickey waffles for breakfast - all arranged on the low buffet for little ones to reach. You won't be disappointed!

I have been to WDW twice, and call be a doofus, but what are AKL restaurants? We will be spending Thurs and Fri night after our cruise at the Nick Hotel in Orlando, and we might need to venture out for some dinner...
