Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day.

Please pray for my friend in Saint Marks Florida over the next 24 hours. As of 8:00 this morning the storm surge has water into the streets, and the worst is yet to come. He just lost everything in July with Dennis, and now this!

I pray for all of those in LA, MS and AL who are expecting a direct hit, I hope this does not affect anyone on the DIS boards or their families.

Sorry for the late reply - we took the girls to Universal this weekend to celebrate our daughters Student of the Month honor.

We are in room 2106 . . . . trust us we aren't giving it up!!! Wouldn't miss this cruise if we can help it. Hopefully you will be able to handle 6 and 4 year old girls that have waaaaayyyyy too much energy!

Good morning everyone. We enjoyed the mini-reunion over on the "Live from the Magic" thread. We got very little accomplished yesterday watching the Magic transit the canal.

We did run to the Magic Kingdom to see my God son get his first haircut. Was very cute. It was also very wet. The rains came with a vengence. So to dry off, we stopped for a Lapu Lapu at the Polynesian.

Good luck to all the disboard members in LA, AL, MS, TN, and other Katrina-affected states. To the rest, have a great Monday.

Happy Monday to all. Just wanted to say hello. Well, it looks like there are lots of little girls on the cruise- anyone with a little boy around the age of 6-9? My DS Noah will 7, almost 8 on the cruise and I am beginning to wonder if he will be the only boy on the Wonder.

Well yes, I guess he could- he does like girls and usually has many "girlfriends" but- he is really into boy things....like computers and video games, etc. He won't play with "girl" toys....to give you an idea- he wanted to see Cinderallbration at WDW but woudn't go because it was a girl thing- same with eating in the castle....Mom it would be cool, but the princesses are for girls.


BY THE WAY-
We are keeping our balcony. After a LONG drawn out mess- my travel agent- who shall remain nameless- but NOT blameless did not transfer our reservations when requested and a rate change happened- thus making less of a difference between the price we had locked in for our room and the published price for the window room- very close in price.

There are multiple other problems which have happened- it is really sad when you know more about Disney and DCL than a TA who is suppose to specialize in Disney. She also lost our ability to use a Novemeber reservation we had as a "holding" cruise to lock in rates. I am not very pleased, I will NEVER book anymore reservations with this agency- because of the slow service and lack of knowledge. It is not worth the "discount" you get back from them.....

I will either book myself or find a new TA....

Noah just made his first ebay purchase, buying the three Egyptian God cards from Yu Gi Oh.....silly boy- spent 10 weeks of savings.

What dinner seating are you at? We used to do main- but have found that a good majority of the "big" night activities were during the shows after dinner....what have you found? So we are at late.

Celeste - we have a son as well. He will be 9 on the cruise. There happens to be a lineup of girls on deck 2 but I'm sure there will be plenty of boys on the cruise.
