Signed up with Castaway Cay Club for the 11 day cruise 8/15 for Cat 9. Base price was $3238 for 2 adults. Checked today(8/25) with Disney Cruise site and the price is $3938, up $700!

Randall you and Kevin are such dears.... I would love to come along... but unfortunately I can't commit at this point. I may have a wedding to pay for. Maybe when the DVC points come out .... but that still leaves me all alone, since the DH can't possibly cruise in September. I am still considering some other possibilities... thus the lurkage.... Besides you all are SO entertaining!

Leslie... I hope your "Other possibilities" work out for you! How wonderful it would be to cruise again with everyone! Right now, our possibility is in 2007... sure hope they get those announced SOON!

Hey I finally hit 300 posts!

Congrats!

Just hanging out today watching it rain and rain. Schools are closed, work is closed, so now it's a 4-day WEEKEND! WITH PAY!!!! The only down-side is 4 days with "the screamer" (a.k.a. DD4 ). Just kidding! It's fun to have a forced break from the regular run-around and spend some family time together. Nothing like roasting frozen pizza on the BBQ when the power goes out! BBQ sauce anyone?

She developed some type of liver disease that her little body could not overcome. We are all heartbroken and the cruise seems so unimportant right now. If you could spare a good thought, my family could use it. My kids and I are not functioning well. aw:

Okay I am done lurking - I have just sent in my deposit for the 11 day cruise. My DH (Dave) and myself (Jodie) will be in cabin 2103. This is the first time we have booked an inside cabin for a long cruise - I figured I was on deck most of the time during the May repo cruise so now I have a little extra cash for my onboard account. Back to my hurricane party - we are enough north here in Jupiter that this one should just be a little wind and rain and an excuse for a party! Best of luck to those of you down south - I think you will be okay during this one as well.
