I can totally relate!! When we were on the May Repo, Joey Fatone (from Back Street Boys fame) and his family were in the cabin next to ours and I can guarantee you he heard my 4 year old screaming more than once at the top of her lungs. I'm surprised the whole ship didn't hear her!

We opted to have her stay with Grandpa and Grandma for this cruise!

Wait.... was that your beautiful daughter we heard? Hmmm... I thought that was Kevin when he saw my charges from the Spa. A similar sound is created by both.

I was wondering why Q wasn't joining this trip. She is a doll.

Hi all,

Joining you all for the first time on these boards (well lurked a little but that does n't count!).

We booked yesterday so I thought it was time we joined you guys . I had a big shock finding 60 pages! I thought we were quick off the mark with this sailing, should have known you dcl fans were there from the moment it was first announced.

Anyway, pleased to meet you all. I might need some help with all these fancy banners, clocks and stuff but I'll try to figure it out myself first.

Welcome cruzincricketts! Glad you found us here, this is going to be an awesome cruise with so many wonderful people! Many years ago I lived in Reno NV. On Orovada Street, and I worked at Gran Central. What memories I still have from that fun city!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MIKE!

We spent three days out at WDW this past weekend. Only got to go to MGM studios. The rest of the time we spent with friends and down by the pool.

SWEET SUE: I know what you mean about screamers!! My DD is only 18 months and boy what a set of lungs. My 14yr old DD and I were on one of the Dis buses going back to the hotel, and my little one was very tired and hungry. Well, she just started screaming at the top of her lungs and would not stop. I was sooo embarrassed I wanted to DIE!!! Everyone on the bus was staring at us!! Needless to say after that we drove to wherever we needed to go!!

My daughter Caitlan who has just turned 8, was wondering if there is anyone about her age going on this cruise who she can contact occasionally.

It has been 18 months since our last cruise and we don't remember a pirate night. Is this official or a Dis thing? DH is already planning his costume!

Randall you and Kevin are such dears.... I would love to come along... but unfortunately I can't commit at this point. I may have a wedding to pay for. Maybe when the DVC points come out .... but that still leaves me all alone, since the DH can't possibly cruise in September. I am still considering some other possibilities... thus the lurkage.... Besides you all are SO entertaining!

I am so jealous that you were at Disney World. Rick and I are trying to figure out how we can go for a few days in November. He has used all of his vacation for this year. I guess we can alway's go to Disney's vacation Resort in Hilton Head for a "Disney Fix" It is only 1 1/2 hours from us and it is BEAUTIFUL.Hope you had a great time.

Pirate night is official, and relatively new. They launched it last fall, so we are quickly approaching its one year mark. And, if I am not completely turned around, I think it is only offered on the 7+ night cruises.

As for kids your daughters age, there is no-one showing as 8 on the roster, but quite a few 7 and 9 year olds....

My son is 8 right now and will be 9 on next year's cruise. I listed my kids with the ages they will be, not what they are now. Perhaps others have done the same.
