Welcome aboard Vickie and family. Looking forward to the new ports of call. Hope that everyone is having a great weekend. Mike

Hi everyone. Hope everyone is having a good evening tonight and hope everyone had a great weekend.

I need to go and check on our repo friends real quick. I haven't had a chance to keep up with them yet. In a week they'll be bringing the Magic back through the canal and into her home waters.

I like DISer's 11, also.

Have a good night,
Emily

Good morning all! Welcome all of the new families and individuals!!!

I am anxiously watching the live thread from repro cruise....hoping they will announce the new 2007 info!

Have a great day!

Happy Monday all! Glad we've slowed this thread down just a little. I'm trying to keep up with four right now!

Heard the Magic didn't get to go to Cabo due to 15 foot waves. Glad I'm not on the ship, me and 15 foot waves do not get along.

Linda

Hi everyone.

Wow, 15 foot waves! So, did they have to completely skip Cabo? Is DCL going to give them onboard credit or anything for missing a port due to the weather?

Okay, you know you have a Dis problem- when you can't keep your threads straight. I posted an answer to someone's question regarding a song on the Live August cruise video- in relation to Robb's video. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh goodness.

So, Rob- do tell how did you get a recording of the music from the show they do on the first night of the cruise??? My husband, Robb wanted to know if there was a CD that we didn't know existed.

I just showed my Noah (6yo son) the cruise video-he really liked it and is excited that we get to cruise again. When he hasn't heard the horn for a longtime- and then hears it- he gets misty eyed. Interesting reaction for a child to have.

15 foot waves :scared: :crazy2: :faint:

Too bad they missed Cabo- I enjoyed going there. The ride on the "cat" was great....I have great photos of Noah hanging out on the mesh with the sea under him.

They are going to stop at Mazatlan instead. What a mess switching exertions at thye last minute. Alex

What a mess indeed!! I still hope they get some sort of reimbursement. I know when we were on the 9-16-04 Antigua cruise that ran into Hurricane Jeanne, we missed CC the last day and also got off at PC at 10 pm Friday night, DCL gave us onboard credit and a 50% voucher on our next cruise within the next year.

15-foot waves would make anyone sick! YUCH!

I wonder how they handle the excursion scramble of switching ports. That's got to be crazy! Although I do like the idea of 50% off the next cruise - that's great Emily! Did they give it to everyone or just if you asked?

I remember being on a RCCL ship years ago. We were supposed to go to Haiti and then Haiti had a coup and off we were to the Bahamas instead. They didn't give any compensation at all (act of war and all...).

Sweet Sue
(who is only managing to keep up with this group since most of the group is off cruising) :goodvibes

15 waves sounds pretty KEWL to me..... let er buck.....

Sue, it was to everyone. No asking had to be done. Missing CC wasn't all that bad, it was just a bumpy at sea day.

Scott, maybe you can help me with this. How do I get my smilie sign out beside something instead of below it? I'd like it beside my 11 night ticker, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

Thanks for the help,
Emily

Emily, you got me there. I have noticed that some peoples posts are wider than others, and I know not why. If that could be done then there may be room to put the green sign next to the count down bar. Anyone else have thoughts????

I can't believe that Scott can't help ya on this. I'll try.
When you edit your sig, place the two image references on the same line. No line return.
example....
Ofcourse you have to have the IMAGE command inside of the []
Does this help?

No help here, I have dial up so I don't ever see the siggies.

Sue

Speaking of which - where do I get the pretty 11 day image? I'm sure the info is back there somewhere in the 50+ pages before I joined the group, I'd just never be able to find it!

Sweet Sue

SweetSue: you go on vacation and an act of war happens....I found that funny! :rotfl2: Try removing the spaces in your signature line, like Bob suggested.

Scott- You're such the cowboy! You've been in WY TOO long!! I got this mental image of you sittting on the front of the boat....acting like the guy on the Wy license plate and yelling YEEE-HAW!!

Tried moving it by taking out the spaces, but all that did was scrunch it all together.

More ideas?
