Scott, we will be thru Cheyenne tonight around 1am est time. We got off to a late start and then hit construction all in Pennsylvania. Usually we get through earlier but no such luck. Just tell me its not snowing. I ran snow all through Iowa and Nebraska a few days ago. I thought that stuff was over! We are currently in Davenport Iowa for or monthly showers. Ok Ok, twice monthly......

No new clothes...but I did get some bras....you are right..they were super comfy....yes I know...TMI!!!!!

Johnny Rockets was fabulous as usual and I got some great deals at the scrapbook store including a professional paper rack for only $50 instead of the original $300 price tag!!!!!!!

Elaine, glad to know you got your DivaStyle card. It comes in handy. The bras are insanely comfy. Holds ya up and out too! I'm going this Monday. I'm back on the dreaded atkins diet again to lose some weight fast. Cutting calories and eating rabbit food doesn't work for me, I like food too much!

In other news, Amber(dd20) called to inform us she got her tongue pierced Huh? Now I'm the cool hip stepmonster but that is SKANKY. Kevin is not pleased. He told her that shes 20 yrs old and can make her own decisions but we don't ever want to see it. He told her don't even dare wearing it on the cruise in september. He asked her why she got it and of course she said 'Kacey got one first'. Of course he followed with the ol' 'If Kasey jumped off of a bridge would you?' thing. I can handle tattoooos (kevin and I both have them and so does amber) but a flippin nasty tongue ring? Theres only one reason a 20yr old girl would get a tongue ring and its not to look cute. So we now have to call my uber conservative grandparents and tell them she has it just incase she wears the stupid thing around them on the cruise. And we have to tell kevins mom, because she will be there too. She'll probley knock it out of her mouth! I think amber gets this skanky, no class, tongue rings are cool vibe from her crazy mama! Ok, rant over, breathe in, breathe out.........We paid all that money for braces for her to tear her teeth up with a stupid tongue ring Ugh.....

LOL, or oldest got a tongue ring. We were not thrilled, but told him about the same as you told your daughter.

A bad habit he has is playing with it, which to his (two at the time, now 4) daughter looked like he was sticking his tongue in and out of his mouth. So, of course she is imitating him. They are trying to get her to stop sticking her tongue out..I looked at him and said..ugh, you can't make her do that when you do it all day long. Take that @#$%^ thing out of your tongue. Well, he didn't. Grandaughter stopped imitating him! I could just knock him out.

Personally I think that's why Gina lost in American Idol. She couldn't enunciate some of her words because of that tongue ring.

Weather here was good today. In the 50's and lots of sun. Sorry to hear about the weather up in the northeast.

Hey Mike, menu today was roast chicken and broccoli. For dessert, we had leftover cake from our trip to the Cheesecake Factory thursday. If I have any more desserts like that, I'll need a new tux for the EB repo.
