I got some really KEWL Tink PJ's at a store in Buffalo called Torrid last week....I think they are on their website as well www.torrid.com.

Elaine- Thanks for the tip. ALL of my clothes (including my pirate costume) come from Torrid. The Tink pj's I wore for the jammie breakfast came from there. I that place! I bought a few things a couple of weeks ago (tink tshirts) and have a new POTC3 shirt on order. They have some pretty weird clothes but they have some super cute stuff too. Everything I wore on the 11day came from there.

Cyndi...I only just recently discovered Torrid (thanks to a co-worker)....I LOVE their stuff....it was so nice to go into a plus size store and see some really cool (opps I mean KEWL) plus size clothes...here in Canada the plus size stores only carry "granny" style clothes...nothing really hip or kewl.....I bought a dress....sparkle jeans....my tink PJ's (I just checked my pictures from the 11 day - my PJ's a are little different...black pants and a teal tank top) and some jewellery....I can't wait to go back there and shop some more.

edited to add.....I went back and looked at your pictures from the 11 day....I must say Cyndi...I LOVE your wardrobe!!!!!!!! Especially your black dress in your picture with Ducky & George.

hahaha, nope! Not since the 11 day. Kevin would like it but I couldn't breathe in that thing. I'll probley wear it on our september cruise though. I must say, I didn't enjoy any of my food on pirate night. There was no room for it to go! I love the pics from that night so it was all worth it! I love me some torrid!

Why thank you dahling! :rofl: The black dress was super comfy and I loved it. It came from torrid as well. A few FYI's: All of Torrids shoes are a little wider, including the calfs of the boots are a little wider too. Their bras are great and comfy, and their other women underthings are made for larger customers if ya know what I mean. Its nice to buy clothes somewhere fun and hip. Lane Bryant has geared towards workwear and lets face it, they don't make truck clothes. I frequent the Torrid in Sacramento and when they see me come in they know vacation is coming close! Oooh, and all their jewelry is a little bigger for fat wrists and their sunglasses even fit bigger heads I'm glad you know the torrid secret now! I also love that I can wear a size 1 in there. You should post some of your stuff on here. Oh, and check around prom time for good formal night stuff for cruise time. They are getting a shipment of POTC3 stuff in soon. I can't wait to see my shirt!

Cyndi....I'm just scared now that you and I will show up in the dining room wearing the same outfit someday!!!!!

I too loved their sizing....0, 1, 2, etc....took some getting used to but the gals at the store were great...I think we were in the store for something like 1.5 hours!!!!!

We'll just have to coordinate ahead of time. I love the plushy dressing rooms. Also the jeans come in longs and I need a 34 inch length so it works out well for me. And I own every thing Torrid sells from the Spanx line. Those things really suck you in!

Hey Cyndi...I get to go to Torrid tomorrow!!!!! I got an email this afternoon from my favourite scrapbook store in Buffalo and they are having a 50% off your entire purchase sale...so I'm going to check it out....and since it's not far from the mall, another visit to Torrid is in store!!!!!! We will also be able to hit our new favourite burger place - Johnny Rockets!!!!!

P.S. The birthday fairy has been working overtime since I posted on the weekend that she forgot about me...I have received some lovely cards and even a birthday postcard from Shamu at Seaworld!!!!!!
