Thats too funny! My dh would have crawled under the table. He rarely does anything embarrasing while I am ALWAYS embarrasing myself. :rotfl2:

We were still laughing pretty hard when they seated to older ladies beside us..lol, they probably thought we were crazy.

Guess what my husband signed me up for:
November H#LL

February H@LL

I don't know what he's thinking??? :confused3

I'm gonna have to fight people for the stair climber on the ship....if it has one. :teeth:

You could add climbing the stiars at the CN Tower in Toronto to your lsit of "things" to do....here are the details...

CN Tower Stair Climb
City: Toronto

Forget the stairmaster at the gym; take on the real thing and join more than 1,000 other students in climbing the 1,776 steps of the world's tallest free-standing structure. Put a team together from your school. All the money your team raises in pledges gets credited towards your school fundraising goal. To find out more about this event, or to sign up your team, please visit the Stairclimb website .

Did you know?

* It takes the average, moderately fit person only about 30 minutes to reach the top of the CN Tower.
* The 1,776 stairs of the world's longest staircase are entirely closed in - no windows to distract you from your goal to reach the top.
* In 1986 United Way made it into The Guinness Book of World Records. Sukhbir Dhillon raced to the top in 8 minutes, 17 seconds, establishing a Guinness Book of World Records for the fastest time up in the world's tallest freestanding structure. The world record was broken in 1989 when Brendan Keenoy reached the top in a record time of 7 minutes, 52 seconds.
* Sydney Olympics' cyclist Chrissy Reddon is the speediest female ever - in 2000 she finished the feat in 11 minutes and 52 seconds!
* Over 8,000 people climbed the CN Tower in 2000, raising $550,000 for 200 United Way health and social service agencies.

30 minutes my foot.....It would probably take me an entire day!!!!!

sounds perfect for just about ANY time...
Note to self... get some of that toffee liquor... or butterscotch or whatever!! My list for the islands is getting loooooong!
Hey... somebody said there was a RUM distillery on St. Thomas... that's the first I've heard... anyone else??

I am bringing a bottle of caramel Baileys. Wisconsin was a test market for the stuff. Everyone else will get it this fall.

So close, yet so far....

Edit: I guess I was close enough :cool1: I scared my co-workers when I yelled, "yes"

Way to go Celeste! :cheer2:

does anyone know how much we can bring back from this cruise? Usually on the eastern you can bring 5 liters per person... I think. With 11 nights do you think we can bring more?? Not that I really CARE what the limit is..... but it's nice to know how much I have to smuggle in....LOL

I think you can only get 5 if they are purchased in St. Thomas. Only one from the other islands together. But we can drink it onboard!!

:offtopic:
Well we are looking at our map and wanted to ask our new dear dis friends whom drive quite a bit...
On our drive up to Notre Dame would it be better to drive the south side of Chicago or should we go up 31 North?????????????? :drive:

We are coming from Arkansas....

Thanks!!!! :thanks:

About bring liquor back to the states...

It doesn't matter length of cruise, it just matters where you stop. If you stop in St Thomas you can bring back 5 liters. Since we are stopping in St Thomas then you can bring back 5 liters, just as if you are on a 7 day cruise

DisneyPinDiva said:
What happened to Cheryl?? Cheryl did you go to bed already??? Our mission on the cruise has to be to keep her and Tracy up after 9pm...:rotfl2:

I can make it until at least 10 p.m. :lmao: :dance3:

Ok Leslie, when you catch up. I checked my newest guide book. I don't see anything listed about a rum distillery in St. Thomas. That liquor store near the port was listed though..as having the best prices. There is a warning, that things is St. Thomas are not always the bargain they are thought to be.
Guidebook recommended grabbing a couple of the local brochures for the week..it said liquor prices are printed on the back..so you know where the deals are.

Al Cohens is where we have always gone for liquor and got great deals there.
