Bob - so..what did you think of the butter tarts????? If they lift some of the restrictions before the cruise I might be able to bring some buttertarts down with me....but since I'm going to Leslie & Joe's first....I can't guarantee that any will make it to the ship.....but I would try...

I get to get some Diet Pepsi Jazz Strawberries & cream on Monday....one of my co-workers asked if I'd like to go over to Buffalo with her!!!! Yippee!!!!! next week I will be enjoying some DPJS&C...I just hope they aren't sold out!!!!!!

As for our taxes being higher in Canada..yes our taxes are higher....but then again so are our wages....I guess it just off sets. I love that if I am sick and my doctor's office is closed that I can go to the emergency room and it won't cost me a cent.

I asked my worker's for "exclusively" Canadian things.....and I stumped them....I had already told you guys all the things they told me.

I consulted with my chef (aka Mom) and here is Mom's description of a buttertart:

It's raisins and walnuts in a butter, brown sugar and corn syrup sauce that baked in a tart shell...

Here's a picture of some of the butter tarts my Mom made at Christmas time....

Oh wow!. Glad I didn't see these last evening. Would have gained 2 lbs (.907 Kg) just looking at them. They do look yummy.
You know, you could try to smuggle them across the boarder.

Forget it Bob... the butter tarts will never make it to the ship if Elaine smuggles them in. Joe will consider them compensation for uh.. me being away for 11 nights....

Bob...getting them across the border isn't the problem...it's getting them past the Airport Security!!!!!!

Also...if they made it to the ship...we'd ahve to eat them all before we got in the terminal since DCL wouldn't allow them onboard!!!!
